Trash Island - Trash Scale Broken

I brought in 50.1 pounds of trash and it only registered 46 pounds of it. The combination of items were nine 4.4 pound trash items and one weighing 10.5 total... I did not take screenshots of the exact items used, but all were taken. I am assuming it rounded them down, is this intended?
