I'd recommend that this quest's reward be significantly buffed. As it stands it costs 200gp and gives 10 prestige and an extremely small nugget of XP. It should either give a lot more prestige and be once only, or give more EXP and some sort of minor Sunpurse-flavored item. As it stands it's a quest that rips people off, and low level PCs specifically. I'm personally not that offended that it happened to me, but I think having a "lowbie" quest centered around doing a lot of work for effectively no reward targeted toward new players is a bad idea, because vets just won't do it.

This quest used to give significantly more prestige (50), before it and all other prestige-granting lowbies were nerfed to give only 10.

It is true that most newbies won't think to abandon the quest if they fail the Persuade check, naively buying the portrait for 200gp at least one time.

I increased his reward, but to some degree I think the quest an important lesson to new players that EFU doesn't guarantee you a profitable quest every time.
