An open letter posted across the myriad noticeboards of Ephia's Well. They are carried from hither to thither by a man in a sackcloth robe, hands and sleeves stained with ink. The papers are fairly cheap print. A return address is stamped to the bottom of each sheet, along with an eager solicitation of reply.

QuoteHail, Ephia's Well,

I am now putting forth this open message to the city and its residents. I wish to receive letters, addressed to a certain letterbox at Temple of the Mother in the Souk, detailing the sentiments, concerns, and grievences of the people, all of the people, of the Well. These letters shall be personally reviewed by myself, edited to respect any basic laws or requirements of publishers in the Well, and then published with comment via my nascent newsletter, the Wellwater. All opinions, be they political, scientific, mystical, religious, poetic, or mundane, are welcomed, and no stance is forbidden except that which is prohibited by law. Include in your letter whether or not you would have your piece published under your lawful name, a nom de plume, or anonymously. If no clear indication is made, the submission will be published anonymously.

Additionally, I do invite and gladly accept any letters of interest or inquiry in work for the production of this newsletter. We will accept contributed articles by the lettered people of the Well freely and without regard to political section or social class. We believe firmly in the right of all of the Sultan's subjects to voice their feelings and concerns and oppose vehemently efforts on the part of vested interests to prevent the subjects of the Most Sublime Garden from exercising their rights, so benevolently granted.

Live and drink, your obedient servant,
Domhnall Judicael Guivarch
Redemption! Redemption!
