A simple notebook. Recovered from some burnt place. Here, the notes of Kasu Ortiz lay.





Most notes are simple. Usually some observation on his brother, Casval, or a plain description of events.
No date is provided on any of the notes. They continue one after the other. This could have all happened in the same day, or over many years. He does not try to make a distinction.

The first notes of interest mark his first foray into Ephia's well proper. Though it begins from previous notes which may never be known.

I shall do my best to build us a new life.

There is tell of a tournament. If I wish to make a name for myself I must go to that.

In the well I met a friend named Ediz. She helped me get used to this space before returning home. We attended the tournament with Groker.
We spoke with many people at the tournament. Some were great heroes.
A man died.

I helped Amani and Fasur in the gutter. Amani is strong. Fasur is stronger than he believes.

I have taken my first steps towards becoming a hero. I joined Ser Aurelio, Sister Endora, Flint, Peyton and others on errands.
I composed myself well.

I have continued to support friends in boardwork. Casval is doing well without me around. He is coughing less - Or perhaps I just see it less.
