The letter has some cup ring-stains on it from resting on a bar and smells vaguely of stale cigar smoke...

Legates,

I was approached by a man of the Well, a quiet man who rarely seems to ask or seek much with a proposal for me, which I now bring to you.

The property opposite mine, nearer the Glazier's has suffered long periods of disuse and properties are always in great demand. As the construction on the District grinds to a halt and the business of election seems destined to be delayed, I suggest putting the idle hands of the laborers to some good use. Tear down the Wall beside the Hope to open up the space for better use.

Doing so will bring more dinars into the treasury and provide more opportunity for the projects and people of the Well to have a place to use. I can't imagine it'd even cost anything with the hands of laborers sitting idle with nothing to work at until the District Mess is cleaned up.

Thank you kindly for your consideration, I'll be in touch.
