I was considering making one of these, and was designing builds, but kept running into the problem of needing 6 BAB. The most arcanely skilled a PC you can use for this is a fighter 4/bard 3/Arcane Archer X build. I'd like to suggest an EFU custom class that doesn't have a BAB requirement, instead, the DMs just won't let a successful PC take it until level 8 (the earliest you can take the normal AA class).

This would allow pure Bard Arcane Archers, and Wizard/Sorc variants capable of casting more than the token Level 1 spells needed to gain access to the class.

I need to properly undo my changes to PRCs, unfortunately. (This will happen when I find time, which I don't have much of.)

Additionally, many Prestige Class abilities seem to be hardcoded to only work with the original PRC they were designed for.

It's not possible to duplicate Arcane Archer, and it's too much trouble trying to modify Arcane Archer, without a hakpak. Any DM who attempts this in the future needs to be far more available and attentive than I've been.

But can't DMs make illegal characters?

I mean, i thought you could give a character any ability, feat, skills or classes if you wanted, but it would make it an illegal one- if this is posible, woulnd't it simply be posible to make a level 7 wizard and AA?

That's so much work. The character has to be manually fixed by a DM every time their level changes. Of course, you can ASK for anything. Getting it is another story.

Actually Bard 4/Fighter (or any other full BaB class) 3/ AA X. I was running a character for Fighter 6 / Sor 1 / AA X, but then I remembered I can't get a character to level 7, let alone 8, so I gave up.

One or Two levels of Sorcerer or Wizard and Four levels of Bard, make any character -very- arcane.

Scratch the PrCs. Normal classes work just fine.

That too, supported.
