Can this be made so clerics with animal domain could be able to "Daze" or say, "Dominate" animals in the wilds? This would better reflect their deity granting them 'power' over the wilds so that they may travel them safely.

A thought to consider, perhaps?

Ordeal

This seems fair, actually. I assume you're referring to how nature clerics, unlike Druids, are just as susceptible to animal attacks as, say, some fighter tromping through the woods?

It sounds like this could also be solved by allowing Clerics with the animal domain to use Animal Empathy cross-classed. Is this possible at all?

Hard coded alas. Animal domain turning would allow for easier movement in the wilds. Jungle cats are a bitch.

It would make much more sense if Nature based clerics had some in game representation of their connection to nature, and the ability to travel the wilds with much more freedom.

ExileStrife

Animal Domain is already so outrageously good >_>

Thomas_Not_very_wise

I am sure we would gladly remove the +1 level theme of it in favor of the OMG JUNGLE CAT GANK PREVENTED.

I mean, come on, Why would a cleric of nature kill every animal he comes across, unless he opts for an invis?

Divine Intervention

Because he is a malarite?

AllMYBudgies

I do agree that the animal domain is already pretty good for summoners, however I do still think that there should be some way for nature based clerics to have some control/immunity from animals in the wild. Perhaps it could be a perk, or something that allows a system similar to the way Druids become neutral to animals after taking a certain amount of levels in AE?

The Crimson Magician

It isn't even the summoning thing, imo, they get fucking true seeing at level 5 <_<

Which isn't all that great. Though arguably immunity to all illusions (Colorspray and phantasmal killer included) and see invis is nice.

Lol, Thomas just said, "That's not cool, except for it's cool"

Drakill Tannan

Make clerics with animal domain not to be attacked by animals in the same way as druids, as if the cleric had 4 AE +1 per level.

Thomas_Not_very_wise

Which ever is easier to script, I am all for.

derfo

perk: animal loving idiot, for anyone desiring the same effect i think would be cool
