So, I know it's kinda lame to bring up since I am now playing an elemental cleric but I thought i'd just throw this out-

Is there a way the New Spells can be added to the EFU Custom clerical domains?

A cleric of Kossuth has a woeful amount of flame spells, but could get burning bolt, blast of flame, etc.

An Aurilian could get the Ice Orb, etc.

Not the largest of changes but it would add a lot of cool stuff I think to the domains.

I like this suggestions especially for fire domains and such, if it were possible.

Flavour-wise i agree. But do you reaaaally want more powerfull clerics?

you axed for it

I would say yes, in a sense.

A well-played cleric is extremely enriching for the server setting, and there aren't a lot of very proactive clerics compared to the other classes, at least that I've seen.

A little extra flavorful incentive would be awesome, I think.  Why -can't- a priest of Kossuth cast Combust, for example?

To adress the concern, Drak- It isn't even about making clerics more powerful. Most people would probably avoid stuff like that over PHAT BUFFZ like Divine Power, etc.

The thing about clerics is they're all about miracles. If you gather people together for a sermon you're not there to just shout at them about how cool your god is, you want to have ways to show them how cool he is. If not even for a power sense, a cleric of kossuth who can only cast a wall of fire, at level 7, is pretty amusing and ridiculous.

An Ilmateri can wander the streets healing wounds no matter how grievous with some followers. A Banite can martial a tyrannical army and do military drills in the streets with awesome tyrannical might. A cleric of Kossuth can...Carry a torch? People have (For umberlee, kossuth, etc) tried to summon elementals to make their workings and preachings more emphatic. And that works. It works very awesome until- A Sorc walks by with 1500 of them summoned and goes "oh hey, yeah I'm a fire sorc. It's pretty cool."

Clerics are very show don't tell in EFU, and it's hard to signify "I AM THE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE GOD OF FIRE KNEEEEEL", when you can't even conjure a flame to silence the critics (Or light them on fire).

I personally am playing a Talosian which thankfully does get some spells that fit well for prayers and sermons, but others are kind of SOL and as a result seem like they aren't played too often.

We've added TWO new sets of domains. Additional spells can always be added as loot if a character earns it. We had a kossuthan cleric in the past who had access to practically every fire spell you could think.

Bottom line, chances of someone taking the time to add this is very low.

RwG, beat down the haters, then use an oil flask and torch on them to light their ass up.

I don't know if people will take your divine status seriously, but at least they won't screw around as much if you're lighting people on fire.

Fair enough H, and yeah I figured Fong. Just thought I'd toss it up after a discussion was had with some folks on IRC.

Thanks!
