Squire Perk

Whilst this perk is very cool and interesting as it stands, it is still probably the least practically useful.  A great addition to any knight/noble character it could be improved in one key way.  The level 5 perk bonus is the feat disarm, a feat almost rendered useless by it's penalties unless you gain the improved version.  Furthermore, even if you have the perk feat disarm you cannot take improved disarm without first selecting the same feat again.

I suggest either giving imp disarm as a level 8 perk feat alongside the +2 cha or replacing it with some other bonus.

The Beggar

It's awesome as is!

You are getting a free feat, and a perm stat boost, outside the normal feat heavy ftr progression.

(probably going to be my response to most of these though)

chrijone

The stat boost only applys if your level 8+ if you fall below this it goes away

Equinox

I'd agree that disarm is perhaps not the ideal feat for this class background, rather than imp disarm (which would likely then be complained of being OP). Another feat might be of use. Though i'm unsure which one.

Questing Knight

I am aware that this is a free feat and all the rest of it, however this background is already the one most focused on non combat bonuses.  Improving it a little is hardly overpowering when you consider some of the other backgrounds (though yes, I know everything isn't meant to be perfectly balanced).

Ebok

I honestly like this background. I mean, considering none of the other bonuses can go beyond RP (a highly undervalued commodity in this case it seems). I don't believe Improved Disarm would be all that problematic.

I would normally not care, but if we cannot take Imp Disarm after getting this version of the disarm feat, I do believe this change might be worth considering.

Talir

Sadly, improved disarm cannot be applied.

Why disarm makes sense is that squires (and knights for that matter) are most likely to have a fight end when the opponent loses his weapon. Everyone else wait until the enemy is on the floor, then stabs him again for good measure.

BlackLion

You get disarm for free, just have your int high enough to take IMP Disarm, use a 2hnd weapon, own faces.

Spiffy Has

You cannot take improved disarm with the squire given feat.
