Regarding 4th ed. Keep in mind that mechanic rules are vastly improved. Do not think it sucks just because you do not agree with the lore changes. The combat, in comparison to any other edition, is much more interesting. Fighters have different abilities they can use, wizards do not have a limited amount of spell slots, and many more awesome things!

Dark Sun was a 2E DND setting, that's like Faerun crossed with Mad Max. Standard D&D races in a setting that is primarily desert, and most of the racial stereotypes are turned on their head.

Whats Paranioa and Dark Sun?

Paranoia's an old fun game in a future setting, where your friendly Computer controls everthing, knows everthing, and where your missions have two goals: get the Computer's approval, and get the Computer to disapprove of some of your team mates. The mission orders are a pretext to get others accused of some kind of wrong doing.

In the end, you'll die. That's why all your pcs have clones... Fun times.
