I was pursuing IC recruitment of this before I went on my world tour but now that I've returned I am hoping to fast-track a PC Plot endeavor until about January 3rd..

To me EFU is at its best when it's a sandbox of conflict, strife, agitation and mayhem. There's a palpable fun when DMs are able to either watch or facilitate rather than spoon feed plots to people and I feel that PCs helping out other PCs is what makes EFU so enduring to other servers.

Rather though than recruiting 5+ PCs to some uniform faction I'd like to help sponsor two proactive PCs to help me create a micro-chasm of a PC-ran town within EFU's greater sphere.

Those of you I've spoken with IG, I"m back in action and welcome you to seek me out.

The Hamlet Project:: Bresley's Bulwark has been altered and tweaked in many iterations but with my pursuit of the concept I hope to put as much hands as physically and literally possible into the hands of the players to create a wholly functional (or dysfunctional) PC community supplemented or contested by the NPCs already present.

Two major contracts and offers I've been circulating behind the scenes to people but will be taking it publicly IC in the next day or two when my jet-lag wears off.

Magistrate Bresley's Bulwark: A PC faction leader or proactive individual is sought to help my PC in the establishment of a working small-scale local government. PC could be just as easily a power-hungry Banite as easily as a free-minded adventurer seeking to carve an enclave for his fellow sellsword. The role of the Magistrate will be something akin to the role of Mayor in mistlocke - working with my PC under his umbrella of authority and territory but left to handle day-to-day decisions of governance.

While many Prefects have had Majordomos I intend to fully take a hands off approach and give full power to whomever satisfies the IC criteria. Your PC could quite literally become a favored mayor or petty tyrant as you see fit.

Marshal of Bresley's Bulwark A PC faction leader or proactive individual is sought to help enforce the Village Charger drafted by the Magistrate. He would be basically the Old West Sheriff of our frontier town given the power to deputize, carry out sentence with the Prefect's authority, and ultimately the enforcer presence of the Crossroad Caverns. PCs could just as easily be petty bandits and highwaymen collecting "Taxes" with thin legal authority or could potentially be a bastion of good and worth as promoted by a Paladin Marshal.

This could just as easily blow up in my face as it could flourish so I welcome everyone to just keep their PC's actions IC and seek me out as more word circulates. I just would like to give a chance to foster proactive PCs without the constant view that DMs must be hounded and relentlessly pursued to find prominence, position, and power.

Faith: Any
Class: Any (Though a Magistrate should have an agenda and a Marshal be militarily inclined)

And full disclosure this could be a good jumping point for evil or good PCs alike seeking a jumpstart, establishment, or authority. The specifics will be posted in the next day or two via IC forums/IC pursuits as said above once my jet lag wears off.

I just want to make it very clear this could just end up with eveyrone dead by the DREAD EMPIRE and their new resurgence, in-fighting between the chosen Marshal and Magistrate, or any other countless fun outcomes of EFU proactive pursuits when people with presence and agendas and even their own sub-factions are given nudges to let their imaginations run wild.

Tentative, reactionary, and conservative playing PCs seeking long lasting contributions to EFU should look elsewhere.

If you're looking for some cheap thrills or if you want to get your hands dirty in running a faction/etc though my hope is to be a very helpful patron over the next few weeks OOCly so if you're newer to the server don't be afraid to flag me down on IRC or seek me IG when that info goes live.
