Is it possible to have a separate timer for heal? using one of the other options then not being able to heal once every 10 minutes really limits RSDs. Thanks.

yes, i agree. RSDs always need to save their healing so they usually can never use their other perks like magic weapon or invisibility purge. If they use their MW perk, they are gimping themsleves of the only healing they get. Which is crucial especially on high lvl quests

I'd say give them heals on a seperate timer AND allow them access to their heal abilities as they are now.

This way players can have a heal and choose to use an extra heal if they are in a tight spot. They have to make a choice.

Yes, please. The timer on heal really needs to be separate. maybe increase the cooldown to compensate.

Increase the heal cooldown? Ow, 16 charisma half-elf RSD I had, had cut the cooldown to 1 min and it still wasn't quite enough, even with his Expertise.

Perk suggestion thread for these posts right?

While it is appreciated to have feedback on perks, RSD has received a large number of buffs over time and can be extremely powerful in certain situations. Not all perks are going to be strong, if this one still isn't strong enough for you I would suggest trying something else. The benefit (and a very large one) is to not be reliant on a supply of potions for effectiveness. It has its place but I seriously doubt it will ever be as strong as people want it to be without breaking things because it doesn't need potions to function.

RSD may or may not receive changes in the future but it is far from high priority. So enjoy it as it is if you have a cool concept you think it would work well with or move on to something else if you don't like it.

The limitations are part of the RSD life. As is the challenge of choice. If you save the ability for healing always, you miss out on the other advantages. If you use the other ones, you may not have healing. This is part of the perk and is not going to change. It makes combat at higher levels more dangerous and any burst damage very scary but that is part of the thrill and a limitation you have to work around. You receive a lot for free but you will not be as strong as someone well supplied.

Main healing will come from the herbal pouches you receive every rest. You can add to this through the selection of brews making your healing more potent and possible regeneration over time.

If anything changes about this particular perk it will most likely be giving you more tool options (throwables) to add to combat. But nothing is planned for the foreseeable future. I think RSD is in a nice place right now.
