City Tileset Override

Quote from: Mort;136651The old city tileset after seven years of NwN is amazingly outdated and does not possess the uniqueness that we wished to provide with the EFU:A module.

Therefore, I suggest you all download the following city override and put the content of the .7z file in your override folder.

It's simple. Painless and should make the city take a much more macabre, ruined, vegetation covered look.

Jungle Tileset Override

Quote from: Mort;164063New! Fresh off! Forest Override for that ruined, ancient, jungle look!

All tileset overrides + Placeable Override (recommended)

Texture & Skin Enhancement Override

Quote from: Mort;193075A little tiny file bonus:

www.efupw.com/downloads/texture_revamp.zip

Goes into your override folder.

What it does?

Enhance colours for skin, tattoos, hair, leather, metal, cloth. (Some of it MAY appear translucent in the inventory but everything IG looks better.)

Replace weapon texture with a higher quality, gritty look. Wood looks like wood. Dark weapons are bloodied. Rusted looks older and gritty. Gold and Traditional weapon look better and the WOODs have been improved (no more corny orange bows).

Very small files, but you wil definitely see an improvement in quality In-Game.

Creature Overrides

Quote from: Cluckyx;103291In a long and distant time, there was a list.
This list contained creatures big and small. And this list offered  links to reskin them and make them awesome. And people did download them  and it was awesome and people did rock. And then God looked down upon  NWN. And said, that's just plainly inconvenient. He weaved his godly  voodoo and low and behold ALL of the creatures AND MORE were bound into 3 EASY LINKS.  But if you still want to read what is contained within these magical  archive files. Look into the Hide file below for more information.

 Monster Glow Scaling

Quote from: Cluckyx;103291For those of you who are annoyed by monsters that glow blue/green/red when you hit tab. This is for you.
For those of you who are annoyed by monsters that have been shrunk and  are showing a white skeletal outline of their original sized model. This  is for you.
For those of you are just annoyed. Well, I can't help you.
Just unzip and drop it in your override folder.

Reworked Hands

Quote from: Cluckyx;103291Hey, are you bored with having you hands balled into cubic fists?  Constantly looking like you're up to punch someone? Well hooray!
This Override will give player models of all the default races  individual fingers! So stretch out those digits and see what it's like  to have 10 of them.

UI Override by Amethyst Dragon
Quote from: Cluckyx;103291These are some of the most commonly used Overrides around. They are  purely functional, and once you get used to them, you'll wonder how you  did without them. They colour your spell icons, your feat icons as well  as the Class Icons various colours. Not only are they a vibrant and  welcome change after years of looking at the dull brass icons all the  time. You'll also find yourself being able to locate and find thinks on  your quickslots much faster and easier. And when you're fumbling for  that invis potion as 50 friggin' gnolls close in on you. You'll thank  your lucky stars you downloaded these.

Unobtrusive UI by Amethyst Dragon
Quote from: Cluckyx;103291Originally designed for a server, this custom GUI still has the old  server's branding and name on it. But that aside. This is a damn useful  addition to your repertoire. Especially if you're running on a lowish  resolution. The windows are much more transparent, meaning windows don't  totally obscure what's going on in game. The health bar is a transient  fill from green to red, making it easier to spot when to start running  away.Thinks like the status list that appears next to your portrait in  the top right have had the backgrounds removed, generally giving you  more space to see whats going on if space is at a premium.

Improved Weapons

Quote from: Cluckyx;103291Ok. So you've installed a load over overrides, and the creatures just  look pimp now. But they can only look a certain amount of pimp while the  weapons they're swinging around look like complete wank. So find  enclosed the first of many Weapon overrides. Making your kukri, maces,  Dwarven Waraxes, Greataxes, spears and bastard swords look awesome.  Including completely different looks, much more realistic looking weapon  designs and much higher res skins. The spears are done by Sixesthrice,  one of the best nwn1 custom artists around and it shows. Spears are  quite popular in efu:A at the time of writing so this one should be  useful in particular.
The other fantastic aspect of this, is that where as changing the colour  of a weapon part with vanilla Bioware weapons gave you the options of  gold, silver and bronze colours. A lot of the overrides are so jam  packed with content, that changing the colour completely changes the  blade just like changing the style. So expect a much MUCH richer array  of weapons.
Possibly Coming Soon:, Greatswords, Daggers, Clubs.

Skybox Override

Quote from: Cluckyx;103291Skyboxes are one of the most underappreciated aspects of the NWN world.  You never really notice them, but they have a profound effect on  atmosphere and the general occlusion of the game. You'd certainly miss  them if they weren't there thats for sure.
So it seems only fair that the valiant little skybox gets a bit of a  spruce up once in a while. This override does exactly that, providing  much higher rez and much prettier skyboxes that will certainly set the  scene for any map, night or day.

RuinedDesires

Nukes music over ride, for any who missed it.

https://rapidshare.com/files/234555003/music.7z

NOTE/WARNING :  mus_castle is bugged, so if you use this patch, make CERTAIN that you do not overwrite the official nwn version of it.  There was a patch once, but megaupload took it down, and RuinedDesires doesn't appear to have included it with this link - this somehow manages to contain only the dodgy version that I uploaded then hastily replaced. < Nuke.

The links are broken, it seems.

Access to all the Voicesets

Here is the small file that will give you access to all the voicesets in the game at character creation. Extract from ZIP and add to 'override' folder.

TheShadow

Only ones not really working now are, or were, a few of cluckyx's, Thanks y'all.

The Shadow: I've posted the portrait and voiceset unlocks somewhere on the forums, and it's listed in the most recent comment on the launcher post. :)

If someone had any semblance of a clue how to obtain the icon override and combat stances, you'd be the coolest person.

As I've had a lot of requests lately, I'm placing here a link to master pack of all the overrides I use. These include:

- All of the EfU enhancements from Mort, as well as the listed suggestions from Cluckyx's list (with a few minor exceptions).

- My custom GUI from EfU:A, the fully transparent "Archipelago" skin, modified with a slight color change for the underdark chapter.

- Aenea colored spell icons, radial icons, etc.

- Custom skyboxes from PotM (not like they'll be used in EfU:R, but they're in there)

I'll also plug a link here to my post regarding custom font overrides: http://www.efupw.com/forums/forum/ma...font-overrides

...and here a link to a pack containing the 100% Helvetica (clone) font set I made at Ebok's request: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4w...ew?usp=sharing

A Mothers Dying Wish

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByT6fP7K6JTbNzlOUjhFUjNvcUU/view?usp=sharing

I found my old override folder on my external harddrive, which means that I've reuploaded it for EE.

It contains:

-- Hand models to replace the default Bioware MEATFISTS.
-- HD Texture improvements. This mostly adds stains to things, but it's nice.
-- Colored-coded spell icons, potion icons
-- Updated item icons

It works for EE. I've tested it. No, I'm not going to go through and seperate out all the spell icons or potions icons or item icons you don't like. Do it yourself, or take it or leave it, but in my experience, it improves NWN's look and feel a great deal from the base package that you just get when you just get the default EFU pack.

Directions:

1. Extract to your NWN directory. Mine, for an example, is, "C:\Users\AMDW\Documents\Neverwinter Nights"
2. Enjoy.

Here is a glamour shot.

EDIT: Please inform me if you use this and then come across any bugs. I probably won't be able to do anything to remedy them, but I will post a warning for others and probably not do anything else.

I know there are some nice hand models from the Amia server & there were some awesome werewolf & undead models that used to be on the vaults. Reskinning creature models is usually the most compatible override, area reskins *might* clash with haks currently in use that affect area walkpaths so be careful when implementing those.
