After talking  with some players recently (quite a few) I think we need a reminder about something, mainly about player plots and initiatives (not DM plots).

DMs don't and can't see everything, even if you feel like you are doing a lot with something in game we may not have noticed for one reason or another. Sometimes what you communicate to one DM may not be shared with the team so if they get busy you'll need to move on and find another DM patron to help you with your ambitions, just try to be respectful of our time and communicate to figure out who can help you. You might not always get the answer you want or the result you want but you should always feel free to send a PM to a DM and ask if you can pitch them an idea for something you want to do. We may be able to help you turn a decent idea into a great idea and help you understand better how to make them happen.

Bottom line with player plots, especially if you feel you want or need DM help with is this: You are making a pitch. You won't always find a DM who is free or interested to run something for it. Try not to take it personally, there's only so many of us and a lot demanding our time on EFU and in real life. This is generally why we would advise most player plots be grounded in things that can be achieved between players first. Even if the big idea is impossible it's good to have something to strive towards to inform how and why your character is doing what they do.

If you prefer you can always put in in a more formal application to get your idea across.

So please don't be afraid to come to us if you have something you want to do.
