The frequent amount of discussion about Barbarians is getting exhausting and at this rate, I'm happy to offer drastic change, if for no other reason than to quell the upset masses.

Barbarian Rage.

Instant Action.

Duration:
[ 7 + CON modifier (as vanilla) rounds. Endurance does not increase duration. Why CON? It is the body that has the endurance to exert this energy. Charisma might be manifestation of will, but mechanically, this would make dwarves and half-orcs bad barbarians- a weird thing, given that half-orcs' favored class is barbarian.

Accessibility: 1 rage at level 1, 2 rages by level 4, 3 rages by level 8. Rinse repeat every 4 levels.

+4 Strength, +4 Constitution, +2 will, -2 AC. Charisma scaling is removed.

Furors: One at level 5, two at level 7 (as is.) Does not activate in heavy armor (as is.)

Desert Marauder:

Soak 10 vs fire.

Sewerdweller:

Soak 10 vs Acid.

Stormborn:

Soak 10 vs Lightning

Child of the Ice and Snow:

Soak 10 vs Cold.

Indomitable:

+X to saves vs fear and charm effects. X is barbarian levels.

Determination:

+X to discipline and concentration, X is barbarian levels.

Challenging Call:

+X to taunt, X is barbarian levels.

Jungle Stalker:

-4 strength (to negate the strength modifier of rage.). +4 dexterity, +X to hide and move silently, X is barbarian levels.

Stormtrooper's Charge:

+X to tumble, X is barbarian levels.

Righteous Fury:

1D4 positive energy damage vs outsiders and undead.

Pursuer's Charge:

10% movement speed bonus.

Rallying Cry:

+2 strength and constitution, as well as +1 will saves to all allies in a gargantuan radius. Not applicable to barbarian.

Silver's Bite:

1d4 magic damage vs shapechangers and magic beasts.

Plunging Stab:

+1 AB vs halflings, gnomes, goblinoid (goblins) and reptilians (kobolds).

Skald's Battlecry:

+X constitution, X is charisma modifier. Eagle's Splendor does not apply.

Second Wind:

Heal 2DX once, X is barbarian levels.

Brawler's Rage:

+2 bludgeoning damage applied to gauntlets.

Rabblerouser's Rage:

+2 bludgeoning damage vs lawful. (Chaotic Only)

Doublesoldier's Gambit:

Slain enemies drop 1DX gold as long as they are, at maximum, 4 levels beneath the current character level (minimum of level 2 only, so as to deter rat farming).

Rallying cry seems like the obvious pick, it's better than all of the rest.

Unless the +2 str/con is for allies, not for yourself?

Then it's a pretty neat pick for a party.

Not for yourself, no. Thank you for pointing that out.

Barbarians have already been nerfed several times and likely in a good spot. There may be some tweaks to furors or adding some in the future but we aren't like to overhaul them and aren't interested in a constant state of massive changes to the class.

Any further changes to barbarians will be much more incremental, changes to a furor, adding a new one and so forth.
