The Elven Warband of the Wayward

Hello!

A bit of an ELVEN movement is happening and we would love to invite some others along for the ride.

This group is, rather obviously, consisting of Elves who have decided to take up the fight against parts of the city which they feel has oppressed their very nature.  It is a little less "Vedui cousin" and a little more dark / feral Elf style than typical I suppose, and it consists of high levels of conflict and intrigue for all sorts of characters! We still embrace some of the generic Elven lore but have created our own variant on faith thanks to the awesome clerical systems in place this chapter! I'd like to allow this faith to speak a bit for the concept as well, and so the general outline we follow is:

The Wayward

Associated Domains:
Primary: Elf, Sun,  Air, Magic, Drow
Secondary:  retribution, War, Healing, Fate, Strength, Spider, Plant

Focus:  Elves,  fate, natural cycles, community,  justice/vengeance

Special Requirements: Non-Lawful

Description: An ever changing and shifting apparition of Elven memories, The Wayward displays herself/himself to the people in different ways. Often witnessed during Elven reverie, The Wayward delivers chaotic and differing tales and visions upon those who listen. The only thing that seems to be in common between the tales each follower sees in these visions is that they have no beginning or end, something the Elves believe to be by design and that in which allows them to create their own fate
   One of the other few consistencies seen in the Wayward is the ebb and flow of influence and the relation to how many of the people are aligned together or for a purpose. It's been seen that lone priests of the Wayward hold little power, while when the people are gathered and as one, their power extends in great ways. Perhaps, in some form, each of the people who have gathered lend their own fragments of divinity towards the empowerment of this faith.




Overall, we are looking to raise this faith into something greater than our little warband and perhaps make it a lasting thing for the ELVES. We also have aspirations in numerous other places, including within the deeper rings, and also embrace everyone's individual ideas so long as they fit the basic narrative!

Now is a good time to roll an elf and help shape what we are trying to become an elven City of Rings small god and legacy association.

The faction is focused on the forgotten relationship of the kings court and elves of the past and either the vengeance or redemption of their people. The liberation of the artifacts and culture of their people. The empowering of their goddess who they believe came to the city as many Awakened do, their true identity lost.

They are protectors, shepards, scholars and liberators. Guerillas and soldiers in times of war and teachers during times of peace.

Very fun, high-RP, to-the-point questing, lots of collaborative story telling and interesting vignettes, deep lore cuts, and a good place to get better at mechanics under the auspices of IC team building.
