Planar Sickness visuals not working

I am playing Naeberos Zinyaras, an elf wizard. I have hit the penultimate stage of planar sickness (intense) where normally more flashy visuals show up. However, they only appear briefly after resting, and then I turn translucent, lacking even the normal color shifting of plane sickness
