Quote from: 'In her eyes, a Promise.' - by Harry Henderson
"In her eyes, a Promise."

Life in the Steadings, the lives of farmers,
In frost, famine bellies craddled in a corner.
A constant struggle to fill their larders,
Einhardt house no different, a great body garner,
Yet, don't all the souls long for getting warmer?
When warmth is naught else but a safe harbour-
... of Promise.

A young lad and gal amongst the Einhardt flock,
Their skin so pristine that it made peasants gawk,
Spark of Ba'zeel's gates radiating from their locks,
Alabaster Liam could not rid of an itch of his jock,
Divine Eleleth always luscious in her humble frock,
It lit a candle, it set the scene, a fundamental bedrock-
... of Promise.

They huddled in sheets, shivering like hares,
An innocent thing, this youthful affair,
Their little secret, they whispered and sweared,
The clothes went off and boy - he did have a pair,
He went and did the forbidden, which few would dare,
As the little shared litter runt felt into a snare-
... her Promise!

You can hardly blame the flaxen-haired runts,
For tearing their clothes and late-night bed stunts,
Their mewls, moans and Glitt-like loud grunts,
What does the Lady and Lord say about such affronts
Was the young seduced soft-handed Liam just a dunce?
Since when he looked into her eyes what he saw was-
... a Promise!

Such concludes our tale of the sinful, fleshly lust,
Alas- a tragic tale, for Liam now bites the dust,
His dainty fingers will never again caress her bust,
Never again, the soft whisper, the reprehensible thrust,
Tho- was anything about this incestuous affair ever just?
Yes- the babe born, hidden away under Mongrelwood's crust.

.. the Promise.

.. Yet, where is it now?

Quote from: 'In her eyes, a Promise - Part Two" - by Harry Henderson
"In her eyes, a Promise - Part Two."

In her eyes- a Promise!
From her touch- a Promise!
From her lips- a Promise!
From her loins- a Promise!

But where is it now?

Quote from: 'In her eyes, a Promise - Part Three" - by Harry Henderson
"In her eyes, a Promise - Part Three."

The Queen is red and roses are blue,
The Dragon is dead and so are you.
