Brewing alter self potions doesn't work, despite change log

About a year ago, Dillusionist remarked that alter self could be brewed in a change log

however, casting this spell on a cauldron or on an empty potion bottle results in the "This spell can not be used with the Brew Potion feat" message in the log.
