A band of slaadi spreads out of one warren in ring 93. They throw, toss and scatter a large number of small flyers. Some of the slaadi run away further outring and inring, their appetite and their fate unknown  - but the littered parchments can be found in the rings they passed for days after.

Among the slaadi scuttles an oversized rat, pretending to command the slaadi with imperious squeaks. The remaining slaadi suddenly turn and form an irregular circle around the rat and begin dancing wildly, croaking repeatedly a single word. ANIMOD. ANIMOD. Moments later, they scatter. The confused rat returns to its master, reporting a mission accomplished.

A band of seasoned ringrunners is seen disembarking at Vestige and soon the slaadi are spreading a new set of flyers in the Warrens and adjacent rings, this time with the sigil of the Royal Deep Caravan Company.
