Tumult swirled. But Rashid al-Rashid's first Assembly has come and gone.

QuoteDM Shout
The Voiced file in for an Assembly most assured to be eventful. The late controversies that have plagued the Well as a murmur since the rise of its new Legate now find purchase in the Chamber of Rule, poised to echo off the high walls and bring the great dream of republic toppling down.

The Voiced are called to order. Legates Sol Auk and Rashid al-Rashid sit perched atop their thrones. The great stonefolk merchant as implacable as a boulder, the small ashfolk as canny as a crane.

A great deal of push has been made to "Roll" back the recent changes from the Legate Sol Auk's more non-traditional measures and announcements.

Almost categorically every change has been undone by the Voiced of the previously Assembly.

QuoteFaustine Sangrey:

Of the Assembly of Tammuz 30th, The Following Proposals were made! Sephidra Nirdhe, To End the Trial of Divination License Sale of the Astronomers. Rejected, with the Trial to continue.

Nadiri Rallariel Galayn, To Strike from the Stele the Election Accord Act in it's mis-Scribes State. Approved, Accord Struck from the Stele.

Mari Blacke, Second Draft of the Unlicensed Activity Act. Approved. Any Activity Requiring A License from the Scribes of the Sublime Garden that is Being Performed without one shall now be charged as a Minor Crime.

Lynneth. To Rededicate the Patron of the Well. Approved after Long Deliberation. The Wanderer, Warad, Now stands as Patron of Ephia's Well. So Ends the Proposals of the assembly of Tammuz 30th. Live and Drink.

The Interim Legate proving a stickler for many points - The dresscode of the Voiced demanding Toga worn and no headwraps or masks, more Order than previously sought by Sol Auk, and as expected a great deal of Baz'eelan presence upon the Seat. Ashfolk sensibility - tempering the Refugee spirit.

Though some of Gellema openly furious as the Cinquefoil take to the Bellows in victory lap - For Rashid al-Rashid launched into a visceral tirade over the manipulation and abuses of the Illiterate Stonefolk to even raise Gellema in the first place, such a foul faith compared to the Mother and Father of Baz'eel.

Sol Auk seemed as ever non-plussed as the Stele changed by its hand. After Vote by the Voiced for him to pick a new Patron - Warad, a popular favorite among the Refugee and Merchant alike.

Easily raising the question what was done to make the famously mercurial Stonefolk allow all his works to be undone in such a public and embarrassing fashion.

Some may say threat of Princess as speculated by some over the Bellows over the last many days.

Some may say a sizeable bribe from the shopkeep of the Souk and new Interim Legate of the Purple League.

Some may say the varied threats and more from the Cinquefoil upon the pacifist stonefolk.

QuoteDM Shout:
It is said the Stele of Law rumbled, resisted, when the name of The Sabotage, Gellema, was struck from its marmoreal surface. Warad now rests upon its surface. Come evening, the stars will likely sit dimly upon the night sky.

But a warm wind now blows upon the horizon.

With promise of some semblance of order restored coupled with talk of election in a few weeks time... or sooner if all three Leagues agree to commence such, governance seems to resume.

Time will tell what boons of protection and trade Warad brings the Gold League's merchants and Ephia's Citadel...

Or what fury wrought by Gellema Scorned upon the many who spurned her...
