salutations from Ephia's Well. Hopefully your battles go as well as they can, all things considered. War is a horrid affair, and beyond the words of scribblers like myself, so I shan't attempt to address its horrors further.

The War Council of Ephia's Well would like to know if there is anything that we can do to ease the burdens that you and your forces face. There is a great deal of curiosity regarding the state of the Heliograph, especially. As it is a sensitive matter, I understand if you are not able to offer much information via letter.

Please contact us regarding the matter, in the manner that you deem suitable, if possible. The Union formed at Kardesler must work together, by taking the appropriate steps allowed by our circumstances. As yours are particularly challenging, it is perfectly understandable if you are not able to respond in a more elaborate fashion.
