Amongst the Minningar's possessions rests a collection of stone tablets; they are the Curse Stones, hateful vessels of umbrage and wrath against those who have dealt injury to the dwarves of Got Valdhazr, grim dedications to the Earthquake, Umbur, and his many surface names — The Wronged-Stone, The Shaver, The Old Curse. Their grievances, oaths and bitter acrimony are etched onto the stones by Aurvan Curse-Bound, who records, cares for and fulfills the small reprisals and avenges the countless slights. He hears the wrongs; the oaths and the vengeance sworn and dedicates them accordingly to the wrath of the Earthquake.
