• Legate Linwood opened the chamber, thanked the eight men and women who saved him from the depths, and addressed that there is a risk of himself being lured again like had happened to previous purple legates.
  
  
• The notion of private security for the Legates was brought forth, some talk of a title which was met with pushback. The Janissaries and Rose both assured that it is their duty to protect the Legates, they need only be asked.
  
  
• Aid was asked for by Linwood, in the manner of advice, plans, and anything which might save lives from that which comes from below. A remark on the 251 lives that had been lost in the most recent tragedy.
  
  
• A past idea of an "Early Warning System" was put forward by the Astronomers of Q'tolip, which Linwood voiced his favor of, and there was much arguing about what had occurred in the last descent which preceded the tragedy.
  
  
• Linwood curtailed the argument by declaring himself in favor of re-establishing the Warmaster position, but with the purpose of managing these threats of attack as they come. This notion was met with mixed feelings in the room, some saying we are no longer at war, some saying the position itself has merit but perhaps under a different name. Ultimately, it was decided that Linwood would focus on the warning system first and foremost.
  
  
• Sergeant Gilbracht mentioned that during the descent to save Linwood, the Inheritors helped to direct the eight of the Well back to the surface. Recluta Tallen, another of the eight, then mentioned it was less help and more that they were allowed to leave in peace. This is to say there was a small idea of cooperating with the inheritors put forward.
  
  
• Lyrist Domergue would then go on to argue that while a warning system is worthwhile, it does not solve the issue itself. She proposed that a group be permitted to descend in the hopes of speaking with the Inheritors and find a more permanent solution. Prelate Nerdolwe rebutted, asking if there were any way we can be sure such a group would not cause another tragedy. Linwood was favorable of the idea, but ultimately thinks the warning system will save more lives.
  
  
• Some more arguing ensued, however it was interrupted by magical phenomena which preceded the arrival of the Wellfolk, Ep-Barat. He spoke some cryptic words as the ceiling turned to stars, something about Waystones, then departed. Linwood believed it reinforced the idea we must find these Waystones.
  
  
• It was then that Legate Lhyrian arrived and was filled in of the arrival of the Wellfolk, and the assembly was to be adjourned. However, the ambassador of Kha'esh took to the podium and extended an invitation from the Golden Vizier to the Legates, bidding them come to Kha'esh and put the past behind us. The ambassador was thanked by both Legates, and the invitation would be considered. The meeting then adjourned completely.
