I deleted it, it had naughty words.

I'll double check Howland, bumping up something like stygians etc was exactly what i had in mind.

At any rate that are indeed heightened expectations for level 10+ PCs, but I'm not opposed for those PCs to have some quests to go on when things are slow.

QuoteIf people never do the high level quest that is there now, why should more be added?

Because not everyone has 3+ hours to spare?

Sorry Howland you are exactly right Lizards (and i would presume Orcs 2) has been extended to level 10 thus providing exactly what i was seeking in this request already!

Done.

Caddies

I suggest that Orcs 1 is raised to L10. As its stands, a L10 PC wouldn't earn a single point of XP on the quest anyway, and (if I understand it correct) the spawns will still factor in the higher level. The only quests open to a L10 all take over two hours in total to do, which can be sort of exhausting!

I have another idea.

I have not seen this kind of areas in EFU:A yet, and i belive if they existed the questing problem would be sovled, so i assume they are not. The idea is create a free dungeon, with no specific quest attacked to it, no entering restrictions (level, party size).

This series of areas would be themed, and have intresting things, maybe an ancient machine of sorts that did something amazing, a portal that could potentially lead a character to his/her home, ancient writings about a great evil or a great power in the walls, or plain and simply the ruins of an ancient civilisation with posible great tesources and knowledge (Is the colony built avobe an ancent netheril city like the one in SoU? if so, the burried ruins of such city would be a goood theme for one such areas) etc. whatever, the point is, althouhg the areas themselves would do nothng without DM interaction, players could RP some kind of interest in going there, arm up a party and venture down there.

Now, mechanically talking, this areas should have encounters that fit it's theme, but as random as posible, pretty much like the first enounters in the purple mine quest, and this should vary in a range so that they might become defeatable and challening for both a party of 2 level 7 characters or a party of 5 level 9 players and more if posible, so it always offered a challenge. OOC this areas would be somewhere desirable to go, because there should be loot containers that had the posibility to have rare and powerfull items, things like longswords +1 and stuff, of cource low levels should never get the posibility to adquire such items, but some less powerfull.

If level 10's can't quest, they can lead a small party to this areas, where they will find challenge and have the chance to RP. Plus they will be forced to Roleplay their motives and intentions, develp their characters and plots.. etc. Wich -as mort said- is what it's expected. Also they could find good loot. They would also be awsome areas for DM events.

Just a though, i'd really like to see this in the game.

The above exists currently in game. It was once the prime location in EFU. It's incredibly hard to get to however.

It shouldn't be, if it is supposed to replace high level questing. My suggestion is making more such areas, more avilable, then.

My suggestion was born from what Caddies said, my play times are limited, and whilst i do plenty of stuff IG, i rarely have +2 hours IG in one stretch, so whilst Lizards, Orcs 2 is great the odd shorter one would be even better.
