I have noticed several times that some Bugbears seem to ignore invisibility. This isn't the usual "monster moves to your last position and keeps hounding you" behavior - for example ranged bugbear enemies will continue to attack an invisible target and I did not see any concealment rolls against my char when invisible. Some bugbears even take AOO attacks against invis targets moving around them.

I didn't see any log entries for them drinking potions of seeing or the shaman casting see invis or true seeing.

It looks like the intention is for True Dodge to be castable on others but it is self-target only like True Strike.

The wiki says that SF: Divination gives a further 25% reduction in xp/gp cost.

The in game  description says Spell School Specialization: Divination gives this bonus. This feels like what the server is using.

Which is it intended to be? Can it be changed to SF or GSF so that Astrologians can benefit from it?

When the Potion Cauldron is used by an Astrologian it only displays the option to  brew 1 potion indicating that it is not detecting the Astrologian class levels as caster levels.

There is a mistaken belief that the Shadow Conjuration variant of magic missiles counts as lvl 4 spells for purposes of bypassing Ghostly Visage and that they don't count as a Magic Missile for the purposes of Shield. This isn't the case, however, as it is still blocked by both and appears to be a magic missile in every regard except for casting range (which is shorter than a regular magic missile). I think that it makes sense for immunity to Magic Missile to continue blocking it, but it should bypass Ghostly Visage because a lvl 4 spell is being used to cast it.

This might require some item balancing given the abundance of alchemy crafted items with Shadow Conjuration on it.

I have noticed this on several wand names now - when crafting a wand, the spell name is left out of the name. So you get a "Wand of"

I have tried using displacement mirror images as decoys in the past, but no PC has ever attacked them in confusion - they have always gone directly for my PC. I believe that this in part because setting a PC hostile doesn't hostile the released mirror-images.

It would be nice if this could be done when using /c hostile or the player list to hostile the player.

This is hard to verify given that I can't see the dice rolls involved in the dispels - but it feels like Lesser Dispel, Dispel, etc don't take +Caster Level from gear into effect when determining the caster level for dispelling.

The wiki states that this spell should have a duration of 2 rounds per level if you have GSF: Abjuration (and if you are a wizard, spec in Abjuration)

I have timed this and I'm only getting 1 round per level.

Right now ironguts grants a bonus saving throw against poison, but I think diseases are a more common threat in this chapter. It would be nice if Ironguts gave a bonus vs disease in addition to the poison to allow people to buff themselves against it.

This looks like it is a similar bug to the one affecting the other crafting feat merchants - if you have purchased Brew Potion from another npc then you no longer have the option to purchase the upgraded wand crafting.



You get the conversation option to ask about it, but the only option available when you have the gold on you is "I see."

Making a successful search check on the [Harvest a porcine fleshbud] placeable doesn't create any items.

Right now you can only add 10 lines to a the purchasable journal. That's very limiting if you want to create books/journals to give to other people.

I propose either removing the limit on journals or giving them 25 or 50 charges instead of 10.

I was given 3 slaad tongues by another player - all three had red names and descriptions indicating that they were alchemy ingredients.

The first two slaad tongues appeared to be just that - they triggered an alchemy branch as expected.

The third slaad tongue didn't though, it instead gave me the generic alchemy results.

I have no idea where they came from.

I succeeded on a search check on one [Scavenge...] placeables in the abandoned houses in Ring 92.  The message said that it was successful but there were no items in the inventory.

Additionally all of the fire traps in the upstairs sections were invisible. I don't know if I failed to detect them (I detected every other trap in the place though, just not the ones in this room)

If you were to use chess board notation, it would be rooms C1 and C2 in the area.

Bug Reports / Bubbleberry plants have no model

I don't know if this is a bug or intentional, but Bubbleberry plants have no model. There is a very small glow but it seems like it's often below the ground, rendering them almost undetectable unless you mouse over them.

Suggestions / Customizable spell casting text

I'm imagining a system where whenever a player casts a spell it can automatically speak an emote that the player has set up for that spell.  This would allow players to more easily portray their specific flavor on their spells.

Something along the lines of:
Player casts a spell
Then the player types
/c spelldesc add [A dazzling cloud of luminous butterflies shoots out from his hands]

And then when they cast that spell in the future it would automatically speak that text.

The cons is that it could be noisy if overused?

It would be nice if we could modify our familiars description in the same way we can modify our character's. No real need for it, I just think it would be a nice rp aid for those times when we actually pull our familiars out and rp with them.
