Bug Reports / Songbook Commands
May 30, 2012, 01:19:30 AM
I am unable to access any of the Songbook Voice commands, I suspect this has something to do with Johannes update to the voice command system.

Character: Mathias Durjure
Account: Pen of the Court

Thurborn Ashall was a native of Mistlocke and the Isle Ymph, a fanatic/politician of the Unbroken, he at times was willing to compromise faith for the greater good of the Order, or get another convert. He was an incredibly prolific cleric, at times having individuals lining up at the Priory ready to convert to the Three and One. Toward the End of his Career, I hoped to eventually achieve Knighthood by capturing Bennett and Agneodaniach, but alas, it wasn't to be.

I am glad everyone enjoyed him, here's some screenshots:

SO SAVE US THE THREE!

Suggestions / Withering Reduction
May 21, 2012, 12:58:46 PM
As it stands, Withering Reduction is grossly unfair. The XP penalty is applied to caster classes (or those who get their hands on a withering device), so all the penalties are taken upon the caster and none of it is given to the individual who actually gets their withering reduced.

The XP penalty is there, I am sure, to represent the life energy that is lost to reduce the withering. However, I would make the following suggestion-

Make the option available for the cleric to TAKE the life energy of the person who's withering is getting reduced. Or split it even, so both loose 75 xp.

We are seeing fighters, barbarians, rangers, reaching the higher levels, yet clerics who are forced to reduce the withering of their converts (to keep them converted or display the benefits of faith) are being subjected to increasingly difficult XP demands to meet as they level up. Giving the option for the cleric to remove the xp from the supplicant will even the playing field and make the XP burden much easier to bare.

Plus it will make playing greedy clerics more fun. :)

EDIT: That, or make the person who gets their withering reduced loose 150 xp as well.

Bug Reports / Jance the Carpenter Sign Posts
May 21, 2012, 04:41:33 AM
You get a message upon the sign most and when you use it and set up the actual sign post, a sign post appears with nothing on it and no description.

I feel cheated. :(

Suggestions / Additions to the Order Shop
May 18, 2012, 05:50:39 AM
Can these be made available-

A Monk's "Habit"

A Nun's Habit

Pilgrim Robes

Sylvan Dryroots

A way to spend favor points for withering reduction (A serious must)

And so on?

Suggestions / Numinous Order "Heresy"
May 14, 2012, 05:12:03 PM
I would like to suggest in order to differentiate followers of the Triad, as per those of the Three and One, that upon converting to the Three and One, that Numinous Order footmen be allowed to bequest a token in their inventory that marks them a Follower of the Three and One for the DMs, like a symbol of the Unbroken and whatnot.

The more tokens that Numinous Order Footmen give out, they can receive certain "perks", such as an XP bonus, a reduction in withering, or mist powers.

An idea, imo!

Suggestions / Player Cast Raise Dead
May 10, 2012, 04:13:44 AM
Could the Player Cast version of this spell reduce the XP loss of such dramatically?

Instead of loosing 1/6th of your xp, can you loose only 1/9th if a ~Player~ casts it?

Since it is obviously a much bigger deal if a player casts the spell than getting a candle from an NPC for a measly 1500 gold.

I would advocate changing this quest to one similar that was in the Hanged Goblin or the Privvy quest, a giant ooze the PC fights.

As it stands, people just run in, run out, without fighting an ooze, and cause the ooze spawns out to kill MacNab. Something I am sorely tempted to burn people alive for. Willing Endangerment of the innocent and all.

Bug Reports / Order Key!
May 07, 2012, 12:46:58 PM
Perrubo wants to buy it for one gold coin, why, if I were desperate for food and water like my companions at Blackhearth, I might be tempted to take him up on it!

I do believe they should be marked "Plot" however! <3

Bug Reports / Withering Reduction
May 06, 2012, 07:59:38 PM
It does not seem to have any substantial effect. Individuals who are 'moderately' withered require 20+ withering reduction before they even fall back to Lightly afflicted. And this is from a level 7 cleric.

It seems something is wrong here, and if it isn't, I'd make the suggestion that the XP sacrifice that the PC clerics make in regard to reducing the withering of the faithful be either lessened or the rate of their removal increased 2 fold.
