Let's make this a thread for players who are looking for concepts to join and/or are accepting suggestions.

Well, I'm in this situration right now, so, anyone need a goon, or something specific or has a good suggestion?

Well, I'm really not good at taking screen shots, usually I remember of it when it's too late, or am too tense to think of screening stuff. Also, most of what I've got is spoiling stuff, so, not much to post here. Still, I'll welcome whoever has any.

Well, Sher Blake was an ambitious Cyricist, sadly with low wisdom, but managed to bring me some fun.

Thanks TIW for making his death fun. Thanks Tropic, LiS, Talir, Mort, One_With_Nature and many others who interacted with me. See you on my next guy. :D

Screen Shots & Obituaries / Vathai Turor - 'Red'

Intended to be a docks thug, was quick to get in trouble there. A psycho brute, that found in the Militia a way to be someone and feel important. Several times charged fees (illegally) and accepted bribes, bulling and intimidating people around. I knew he was going to get killed or in trouble with his superiors sooner or later, but it was a fun run. If anyone have screenies of him I'd appreciate, as I have only few.

Thanks to all who interacted with him, it was a blast.

A pseudo faction that is gaining shape now. Right between a DM faction and player faction, no APP is necessary, only earning it IG. If you intend to play a Stygian, this is a good way to start. good for true guardsmen, vigilantes, opportunists and spies alike. If you don't feel like APP, and have a concept that works along with the Stygians but doesn't want much responsibility, this is the perfect spot. Even a spy for an enemy of the Stygians would be very welcome. You'll get to play a wannabe law-enforcer , that most of times thinks he is something. And many opportunities come from the position. Expect a lot of conflicts with Dock-folk, Conclave sorts and Wildlings. A faction of sidekicks mostly, but I'm sure true heroes or villains may rise from it.

Classes: Non Druid. Note that Paladins may have a hard time, for there might be many evil comrades, but anything is possible I guess.
Alignment: Any
APP: No

Well, my other try of a Garagosian, it was fun to play him the short period that I played, Even though I never got passed level 5, I expected some better death, but I hope at least it was fun for the killer. I understand Garagosians do have a short life spam, but a fun character death is what all of us seek. Thanks Talir for the sweet grenade/bomb event and see you all in my next character. Here's a screen shot I took of a classic Garagos/Tempus discussion, nothing special, but I wouldn't post his death here to avoid embarrassment of myself, and mainly for the one who killed him.

Bug Reports / Boars and Malar Beasts
January 23, 2010, 06:17:38 PM
I'm posting this in case it's not intended. Boars seem now to be attacking on sight, not randomly like before. Their bodies don't remain anymore, so they're not skinnable. Malar beasts body now remain on the ground, I'm not sure why.

Alright guys. Something happened some hours ago, that made me upset, for many reasons, but mainly for how I reacted to some situation that I'm not used to. First of all I wish to apologise to the players of the PCs that died in this 'event', and say I wish I could have chilled out and think of something to do other than just kill them monsters, also that I wish there is some way to reverse it, I would be okay with rping that they managed to escape bleeding and survived, something like this.

I wish to hear opinions of more experienced players on how to react to something like this, for I really think I acted bad.

Okay. My character and some others were questing. We leave the quest area, share the loot and all, and suddenly surprised by a Werewolf (Pc) and some Lizard Folk (Pc too). Our group stopped still did not know what to do when they, with no word, charged us. The Werewolf ran away and the Lizard stayed. Was beaten down. Then the Werewolf comes back and keep attacking us. We go after it and take it down. End of story, all two mosnters FDed, as we were staying completely IC, as slaying monsters seem to be the right thing to do for most characters. But then some guilt hit me, I started thinking all what the player had to go through to get some application passed and involving other characters, bringing fun to the server, etc (Although I find attacking adventurers in sight with no word a strange way to involve others), and OOC courtesy, etc.

After all happened, I also learned they were level four, plus the Cr, would be something around 6-7, but were only two, against  a group of about 5 with levels ranging from 5-7. So, that was not considered 'fair', even being them who took the fight to us. (By the way, should one ask the level of the other before starting PvP?)

So, the questions are:

 - What kinds of IC excuses a character should make up not to FD a mosnter PC? Even if truly ICly he would chop its head off and take home as a trophy?

 - What would your character, reader, do with a subdued monster PC, other than kill it or take to show others your deed (which would get them killed too)?

I just want some hints, because in extreme situations such as these, my primary instincts are not to break rules (which I did not do) and keep ICly as much as possible (also done), but even with these two checked, something did not feel right...

Suggestions / Servant of Kelemvor: Perma Dialog
December 24, 2009, 06:13:30 AM
At Fugue Plane, one could have the option of perma the character, by saying something "no, I don't ever wanna go back", or "it's my time" something like that. This would trigger the deletion of the character. Thoughts?

Screen Shots & Obituaries / Gone with the Wind!

Well, R.I.P. Spyro deFerran, the Mystic Wanderer! It was very fun to play this character, I'm not sure if fun to others, but it was a blast. The conclusion is, spellswords are very fun!

He was intended to be a neutral character, rather free of conclicts. But his CN alignment plus not very high wisdom got him involved in major conflicts, which lead to his death. Not nearly epic or worth of much DM attention or DM loot, I played him mostly for my own fun, which I had enough. Thanks to Woody, the pruple Hin couple, Dax, the Thayans and all the Mendon Estate members for nice interaction!

Off-topic Discussion / Ranek
November 15, 2009, 05:57:45 AM
Well guys, Ranek was far from achieving his goal, but some stupid move made by the player aborted his work... I am not sure which was the stupidiest, the way he fugued close to level 9, or refusing to respawn.  I'm trying a next concept, still don't feel very connected with it, so, let's see what comes next...

Special thanks to all who interacted with him, it was a blast playing this guy, and it would not have been half of it if it were not for all you guys who were involved.

'righ', tha's all far now eh!
