It's also worth noting that Warband and the whole Mount and Blade series goes on sale fairly frequently, so watch out for it! A few sales ago I got the entire series for 10 USD

Mount and Blade: Warband is a great game, would recommend it. It's combat system is also vaguely similar to Demons/Dark Souls PvP, so if you enjoy that then you ought to enjoy this game.

This game is pretty damn sweet. Anybody into FPS's should give it a try.

I played a goblin today who died on the same day. It was glorious and some of the most fun I've had on EfU in a while. Sanctuary and the Underdark as a whole is a brilliant setting and I'm very happy to see a return to it.

With a level 6 ranger, holding a bow and wearing cloth armor, I've traveled underwater under near-constant effect of Expeditious Retreat without having something like this happen to me. Maybe the shield is causing the bug?

I don't believe this is a bug. As Crossed.Over says, there is still a chance of spell failure when casting underwater.
