Why not just have PC merchants with better storage systems?

I love barbarians. I came up with that base package years ago... I think looking at them from a level 10 dueling perspective is not the right way to go. Ultimately there are 10,000 things that decide pvp and a perfect world slug fest is not one of them, the barbarian cleaning up your back line with a great axe and crushing face while your dueling fighter helplessly spends 8 rounds buffing before being dispelled and crushed... idk. I think these fights seldom exist in a vacuum, and when they do, maybe in a duel the duelist fighter should cripple the barbarian unless he gets the lucky 76 damage greataxe crit.

Fundamentally I think their problem comes down to supplies and sustain. Chances are you will never see a level 10 barbarian...

Healing
1.) slow passive healing out of combat?
2.) bonus to potion effectiveness
3.) herb bonus? Failure on 5?

Saves
1.) barbarian only loot? Unfortunate when loot is must have and you can't partake in the randomness of efu loot but maybe easy solution
2.) +1-2 to all saves at 8 depending on perk
3.) ??

Module
1.) return of svirfneblin defense device, aka THE EqUALIZER. Or similar items available mostly on low level quests. Dispel (5) and confusion charges. It's like giving all PCs a gun and makes being a pvp god way less possible.

Ask around ICly! There is some old hat pvp mentors that can teach you this stuff IG. There is absolutely nothing wrong with your build, in fact it is quite strong looking. Generally though build vs potions, potions will win. 5 basics boost AB or damage. 3 basics boost AC. You drink those, have a weapon charm, throw in haste potion on occasion and a displacement when things look bad.

 ::[ Eleint 4th : Year 164 : 1386 DR ]::

Rumors fly in the dark after a series of sendings... and the whispers in the streets that followed them... of Prefect Jaysef Tyura's brutal death at the hands of some nameless Drow at the very gates of his prefecture.

.
::[ Unauthorised Dunwarren Sending by Jalynfein Khalazza : To the Rivvil who defile the underdark in Dunwarren, I am Jalynfein Khallaza, the Blade of Nyxae. My sister and I came to these lands because of her lover, Jhalan Arkveniir, who had been missing for far too long to her liking. It`s apparent they have both been slaughtered by you insolent creatures. ]::

::[ Unauthorised Dunwarren Sending by Jalynfein Khalazza : Now you will feel the agony they endured, one hundred fold. Any allegiances forged on her behalf are hereby severed. My frenzy will not be stopped until I cover and drape one hundred of your faces for each of them upon my cloak. ]::

::[ City Sending by Jaysef Tyura : Well then. I`ve had myself a fair share of amusement at Prefect Miriam`s spectacles. Perhaps it`s time I aught return the favor- ]::
::[ City Sending by Jaysef Tyura : I`ve crashed the gates of my territory at Traensyr to pike enough Dhaerrow skulls. If it`s war you want on Sanctuary I`ll take first swipe, Nyxaen. I shall be before the Barbican. Lay siege to my gate at your peril. Let us see how I do against the free-minded. ]::

The people of Sanctuary are left with unease and hopelessness, stirred by an ineffective and incompetent Watch, the Prefect Miriam's rebellious tearing apart of the institutions of Sanctuary, and the general sense that justice and law no longer exists in Dunwarren save for those strong enough to look after their own. Some flee to the ooze soaked streets of Lower, or petition the Knights of the New Path for retribution or the powers to defend themselves, but more simply go silent and hope that something will change for the better...

If this is desired merely contact a DM and we will reduce your exp and keep you perpetually level 5.

Please PM me all the items that people perceive to be overpowering in PvP or post them to "Exploitable Bug Reports."

Beholder attacks are touch attacks.

Beholder attacks take into effect spellcraft & saves vs spells.

I say this in that both those methods allow for various counters to beholders.

Move along! They are the great roulette wheels of the forgotten realms.

I will say that all these 'rules' are not set in stone and that prefects have a lot of lee-way in the pacing and order of the trial.

Any time a player says something is balanced I am supremely suspicious.

Got a PC to level 10 while living in africa and playing off a wi-max connection. As stated consistency is the biggest thing.

I have played monks in EFU (similar supply dearth) and EFU:A, both heavily involved in PvP and having positive charisma scores. They're certainly reliant on magic, supplies, etc -

That said they gain the MOST of any PC for the use of supplies / magic. As such they're balanced to their maximum efficiency. Now, I am not one that believes in "waiting for DM attention" but this is a case where it is regrettably necessary. If you are playing an excellent  monk with a subtle and interesting philosophy that informs their goals, play style & personality, you will be noticed and receive loot.

This is a well thought out suggestion but I am afraid that "Monks" are a class best rewarded by DM loot if they are played and RP'd well. These perks are a bit out of line with how good I perceive monks to be already.

From scrapper to trader and from trader to tavern patron the story of how a Spellguard Agent was killed within the Machine spreads. It is said that Drogor Splints a wanted fugitive fleeing the Spellguard Agent and several Auxiliary, led them into the small and hidden community of Scrappers known as Bartertown. In the fight, after calls for the Scrappers to surrender were made by the Agent, Drogor Splints detonated several powerful alchemical objects within the confines of Bartertown itself, killing wounded scrappers and the injured Auxillary alike. Over the protests of the Scrapper's of Bartertown, Drogor Splints then executed Agent Obersvesky.

Various signs point to the veracity of the rumors truth, such as Scrappers muttering about the 'long falls in the Machine' they would like for Drogor to take and people in Lower Sanctuary boasting that if he tries to have them fight his battles, like the Scrappers, he'll get a quick knife in the back, and a long ride out to the Dark Lake no matter who's hunting him. The most telling is the disappearance of various auxiliaries and the Agent Nicholas Obersvesky from the streets of Sanctuary...

Solid PCs. Good use of questing prowess to both include others and spread the message of your diety & goals. Respect.
