Since this only grants hide and not move silently and is also very rare I don't think it's a problem.

Right, I'm sorry you weren't allowed on a quest or something and got all mad about it. I'm not in any clique here and don't give a fuck how long you played DnD. (I'm sure that goes for a lot of people who are going to proceed to troll you now, or maybe me) If something isn't working out IG for you for IC reasons then handle it ICly. If you think you're mistreated OOCly for being such a kind and modest fella then speak with the DMs.

Factions should be used as a tool to further your character goals along and little else. Whether it's DM supported or player driven doesn't really matter so long as they fit whatever it is you're trying to accomplish. If that stops happening while you're in it then you can always leave any faction and move on to something more fitting.

If nothing is fitting then you might need to evaluate your character's goals and see why that is. (Not that it's a bad thing not to fit in a faction all the time, but if you want to and can't then you should take a second look)

It was defeated, just FYI, but focus on the Greywood in his thread because it was an excellent character with proactive goals and depth that involved a lot of people.

Last thing we need is druids and rangers running around with entire packs of animals. This also has some major exploit issues.

The counter skill is the DC a DM sets. Players shouldn't set DC's of their own against one another nor expect their random roll check to mean anything outside of showing off. If you're character tells lies then you should have bluff. If you don't have bluff you should be bad at telling lies and make it obvious.

It gives a save for half damage -and- to avoid the paralysis, it's just not a reflex iirc. Some traps don't use reflex and that's a good thing imo. However, I still agree that deadly traps shouldn't be on scripted quests, especially ones that are kind of there to mostly keep people supplied.

It's all fair in the IC world so long as the rules are followed. Stealing from a player in front of NPCs is a pvp action and should require a DM, otherwise they can't react. Kind of goes along with what Cap said about not having any risk to your actions. However, since that's a rule anyway (I believe) then it shouldn't matter what happens ICly outside of NPC sight.

Outside of that the whole 'split everything equally' policy that's rather lame doesn't hold much weight with me either. Then again, I'm posting in an LTS thread where his primary goal is to get attention and up his post count. xD
