He was great :D

I particularly enjoyed when my Cyricist Bard made you kill that civilian, and got all those other civilians to riot. :)

Good times.

For my Son of Sabuth, I got a suit of armor that was plot.. I went and got some dyes for it, and it turned out it was plot. I just asked a DM for some help and they turned off the plot property on it, so I could dye it. Problem solved.

I wouldn't bother them with it though unless there's some specific reason you need it dyed, like for faction gear.

More than that, not one of their deities are chaotic. It's all LG, LN or TN.

The only ones I've found are at the Eyrie, and to get up there you need to be a part of the Allies of the Zodiak association. But there are probably some elsewhere I just haven't found.

It was a joke, is all. Truthfully I never played with Dakarai.. but anyway. All our characters will die a painful death at some point. No one from EfU lived through all of EfU:A, even, by my reckoning. Though a few may have escaped back to Faerun. Every character we make will die, so you've got to go out and try and make whatever it is you die trying to do worthwhile, fun and interesting.. Like Leged! But now we're getting even more off topic. *cough*

QuoteAs halfling Kelemvor, you can imagine this guy goes around kicking undead ass all day long. Also, keep in mind most halfling fortifications and homes are built at least partially underground in burrows, like a bunch of weed smoking Prairie Dogs armed with knives, making this diety very culturally important too.

QuoteI think it could have been presented better.

What? How would YOU improve this? This is golden! :P

No one can win EfU because someone already won, so we lost.

Quote[03:32]Dakarai did indeed win, with more than twice the number of kills as any other PC or NPC

I'm sorry, I just had to. :P

There are indeed Conjurative Focuses around with no restriction. Granted you need to be a part of a certain faction to access them and thus why I never found them before.. there are also some scattered around, probably

Yes, this may be a 'buff my PC' thread.. but at the same time, you don't really notice something odd with a certain class or concept, mechanically, until you go out and build and make it. It's just my belief that druids (and clerics) who want to be something other than the melee powerhouse they normally are (and excel at being) should get a slight boost. But it's a very minor issue, if it's an issue at all.

When you dwell on your losses too much, you get depressed and start trying to blame other people. It's EfU, shit happens. Effective questing is tough, when you balance out the supplies used and how aggressive you are just enough to make sure you get through the quest without getting butchered. A lot of it relies on hiding behind those folk who take all the supplies. It's not particularly glorious, it's just something that has to be done, as they've got the best bet of surviving, so you're better off flanking with them. Everyone in the party should just focus on supporting the best warrior, by healing, flanking, buffing, etc.

When you get spiced, it helps not to think about what kind of loot or XP the DM will give you.. because you may very well not get any of it. Think instead about what kind of crazy-ass monster you get to kill at the end of it, and brag to people about when you get back to town. That at least is something you're almost guaranteed to get.

I just know that as my last character, I went to go buy a Summoning Focus so that I could start summoning something other than brood keepers, but the one for sale from the Argenti in the marketplace was sorc/wizard/bard only.

Druids who app and get into a special faction for nature characters may be able to get a nice theme.. but for the rest of them, they are stuck with not only less summons, but a lower variety of summons. Yes, they can cast magic fang, which is their main advantage. However, they cannot use summoning foci to change their theme using reagents (it's arcane only) and unlike clerics, they have no domains with which to get a particular theme they would like, unless they take a perk, or they app specifically for it. Less summons, less variety, less duration.. there is the magic fang though, which is good. Though preparing magic fang spells means even less summons.

Giving focused conjuror druids a little boost to their summons wouldn't be overpowering.

I've noticed it's been getting harder to accumulate supplies and levels.. before I could hit level 8 no problem, now I have difficulty keeping 6, not to mention a decent supply of even basic healing. Then spice comes by and often I just barely pull through, if that.

It'll get better in time, I recommend trying to find non-quest ways of gaining gold and supplies, though, for now, if quests and spice are frustrating you (and death after death with little to no reward can be very frustrating, even if the spice/quest itself was very fun). Such as hunting, alchemy/herbalism, mercantile, mercenary work, bounty hunting, etc. I certainly don't want DM's to spice quests less, though.

Quotetoss out a T-bone steak and cast Confusion on the orcs who start fighting over it.

That actually sounds pretty fun... :)

You could go out and befriend the Stargazers. Just watch for groups or even simple individuals that your character agrees with or likes, and try and have fun with them, even if you don't join them. You could make your own faction, dedicated to protection, particularly of halflings.
