I am so terrible at this sort of thing. I always feel like my IQ drops about 50 points whenever I'm with a DM and they are trying to get me to do something specific. Somehow the most obvious thing in the world becomes completely incomprehensible to me if there's any kind of pressure to perform.

My apologies to all the DMs who I have put through this experience.

Quote from: The Old Hack;322031(I wonder if there is a way of entirely eliminating the 'X now Dislikes you' message? It is pure meta information and thus only disruptive to the roleplay and mood.)

The "/c hostile" command does not show the meta information to the other player. I usually have "/c hostile area" and "/c unhostile all" set to quickslots. Those two plus the new PvP Player Tool make it very easy to manage hostility without giving out too much meta information to others.

FWIW, almost none (if any) the new cleric domain spells as well as the additional override spells (Teleport, Masochism, etc) work and play well with metamagic feats or with the "house rules" spell changes. As a general rule, you probably should not design builds that rely on these combinations because I have never had them work as intended.

I just did this with a level 4 and I was kicking butt. I died, but then again, I'm level freaking four.

Quote from: PonyPower;317502Could we also do something with the light and mist in the tailoring area so we can see our amazing creations?

This x1000. It is so disappointing to spend half an hour getting the colors on an outfit just perfect only to discover once you get into an area with normal lighting that you picked some off-tone metal dye that makes the whole thing look awful.

More than one clothing tailor would be nice, too. I hate making people wait while I'm picking out a costume.

Wow, I'm kind of surprised at the responses so far.

It sounds like I need an education in how to make a better druid. I've always seen the druid as a jack of all trades, master of none. My concepts tend to specialize, and the druid class is not very good at that except in very limited ways. It was my understanding that each of the wildshapes and animal companions were meant to help a druid specialize, as that seems to be the effect, whether intentional or not.

Whatever the case, I think this class needs some attention. If it's really just fine as it is, someone PM me and let's breathe some life into the nature faction. I'm missing something.

I just got a (for me) new desktop and set up NWN on it. This is my first experience of NWN on a relatively modern computer, so I maxed out everything. Shiny water, NWNCQ, all of it.

Holy sweet Jesus. I now get 70fps in the town square with all that stuff turned on. I think I've solved my problem.

Unless something has changed, there is a use for the Goblin Leper Island map item. You just have to find it.

I know this might not be the most popular idea, but has anyone considered advertising? Both Facebook and reddit.com have some pretty well-targeted ad options that are reportedly quite effective. A couple of hundred dollars could possibly bring in dozens of new players.

Beyond that, expanding out into social media beyond the forums couldn't possibly hurt. What if we started an EfU subreddit? The forum screenshots threads are what originally convinced me to play here. If we were posing interesting screenshots where other people could see them it might entice people to ask, WTF is EfU?

Hope all is well. Been dealing with this kind of stuff myself lately and it's always a supreme relief to get good news from a doctor.

Oh, I've done all that already Paha. I'm pretty much at a brick wall here and I'm pretty sure it's the drivers. I'd love it if KingHovCopy could point me to where he got his drivers.

Thank you very much for the reply, Paha. I am not an expert on this stuff, and that really helps me understand why NWN has so much trouble on this machine while other games don't.

I should add, however, that I've read reports of others getting NWN to run smoothly on this card.
