Rewrote my post about twenty times and could not have said it better Weaverific. Mechanical power and the effects it has on PvP matter. Not really sure if any server changes can be made in regards to this (or even should be), but as a player base I think we do need to accept this reality. When you make a character that is less mechanically powerful than a normal EfU build (not a power build, but not a weak build either), you are at an disadvantage.

[Updated after Paha's explanation. Thanks Paha.]

As someone directly involved in the incident, I understand the decision and appreciate the mess Paha was trying to un-solve. I do agree with Erwin that the PCs who were the attacked and then won to begin the event are going to most likely suffer IC for the decision, but "thems the breaks". Your point Howland is very much appreciated. As has been mentioned, the DMs on this server do a very very good job of trying to keep everything as consistent and well done as possible.

As Jagged indicated, if you are still around and want to come back we will take care of Cecilia IC & IG. I was the one who told you we didnt have enough coins to raise Cecilia the night of the tournament. My apologies if it sounded like we would never raise Cecilia, it was meant to indicate Caemryn would have to gather some coins and then take care of Cecilia IG.

An excellent post, one addition I would like to add in regards to your characters not being entirely your own. This cuts both ways, especially in regards to PvP. If you are the victor in PvP consider your actions from two perspectives, in character actions and a portion of call it "OOC PvP Taste". Remember that there is another player that has most likely put a great deal of time into their character on the other end of the event. At times FD is certainly justified and in fact needed to keep the theme of the server we all love. Still, some of the most feared (and beloved) villains in EfU have had this "OOC PvP Taste" in spades. It is part of what made them such a great villain, they did not FD their foes at the first chance but rather built up IG depth behind the conflicts.

Yes, agreed with Guttersnipe. Also consider how the skills work. Untrained in my mind means you literally never learned anything about them. I would think almost anyone could justify having one point in tumble. From having climbed on things as a child if nothing else.

I like this idea as well. As long as the xp curve continues down, would it be possible to increase the level limit on some of the max 9 quests to max 12 (11 being the practical level maximum, and even then hard as hell to reach)? The idea would be you can still do them and have fun, but understand you will get almost zero xp reward. Not a DM, but it seems most of the high level characters are already heavily engaged in the story arc so that shouldnt be an issue either. Thoughts?

Bug Reports / Respawn: No Caemryn Account
January 01, 2013, 06:18:38 AM
I had to respawn Eirikr from an NPC death. Now when I talk to the Quartermaster at Caemryn he says Eirikr does not have an account. The text indicating Eirikr's wage is still firing. All of Eirikr's cash was in the Account, any ideas on how to fix it?
Thanks.
