Maybe if you went through the module and gave every single chainshirt ambidexterity & two-weapon fighting and made them Ranger-only.

While dying didn't fix this before the reset, if anyone ever is afflicted with permanent Called Shot, getting DM-killed & raised _after_ a reset will remove this odd status.
