Confirmed. I am indeed having issues logging in with my account spiffy has, no e-mail has been sent to three e-mail accounts regarding it.

I had this problem in the notorious thread FRIKENGLITCHEN, I resolved it somehow, I just can't remember. I don't have the heart to link it my humiliation of ages past, but I am sure someone here will be happy to. I think I detailed how I fixed it, somehow.

Hello there! I'm playing as Lucas Kaplan.

Been here a few days, still kind of exploring and finding my way around Sanctuary and it's immediate areas. Had a blast so far, even if I haven't interacted with a lot of characters. Took me a few tries to get through the Hardcore prologue (I realize this wasn't the best idea as a new player) but again, it's all been enjoyable and making it through the prologue and into relative safety has been great.

Looking forward to seeing you all in-game.

The fact it is discussed in the civil service association thread, Tala Kai, gives the impression that Prefects and Directorates would be drawn from the Civil Service. Much like Sergeants and Inspectors are drawn from the Watchers. What if an adventurer, a leader of a player faction, was suddenly promoted and given Sergeant/inspector authority? This is what seems to be the comparison here. Individuals with no record of civil service suddenly gaining positions over those individuals who do. It even states in the biography of Hyram Sinclair that he was a clerk as well in the civil service, and rose quickly.

This shouldn't be a case of "Anybody can become a Prefect/Director", just as it isn't a case of "Anybody can become an Inspector/Sergeant, Auxiliary Captain/Chief Engineer." If it is the case, then what hope of advancement do civil service members have, as it is, it's far more fun to have an interesting faction concept and pursue guild support from outside the civil, and reap in the perks of such.
