I was pretty serious about LoL until D3 came out after which I haven't played a single game....but I could be coerced.

Get a DM to help clean your vault and remake your character.  You will continue to have problems until that's been done.

It's mostly my bad for not preventing this.  But I still own the website, so I'll get around to fixing it probably this weekend (despite my friends coming to visit).  I think this is the most elaborate thing somebody has done...I'm just glad ScottyB was a former DM and probably did it all in good spirit.  :S

Next time you use it on an Ilmateri cleric you'll have a chance of spellfailure.  Or will you?

Originality doesn't need perks though.  Originality is special due to the LACK of supporting perks.  If Genasi got then elemental perk, +x spell slots, or even +x elemental damage for being a sorcerer, what would be so special about seeing a Genasi sorcerer now?  We don't need to give bonuses to half-orc wizards or halfling barbarians just to promote class/race diversity.

It's much cooler when one person does one of those builds without any sort of specialized perk and still manage to rock out.

I have not read the books.  I have an associate who provides me custom commentary after each episode who fills me in on the characters, details, and relationships spoiler free.  Without him it would be very hard to catch everything.

Quote from: Drakill Tannan;233170I think when the lines of good and evil blur it all becomes more intresting.

That must be why 63.5% of your characters are neutral.

No, you do not see the discussion.  If you find a DM with spare time that's willing to help, you can see if there is anything they are willing to say about it.

It is very easy for the DM team to tell the difference between a character who has dumped points into skills like disable trap and lock picking for optimal questing efficiency, and one who is doing it for flair and added character.

It is also very easy to distinguish active, creative portrayals of this flair representing time and thought put into the character, rather than after-the-fact justifications to get you out of a tight spot if we ask why your character behaved in a certain way or has a certain ability.

The ooze domain is ridiculously good exactly how it is.

As monotonous as it would be, I do think someone could have some fun with a burying system.

If we were going that route, I'd rather have the good combat forms only unlocked by GSF Transmutation, keeping the simpler forms for those with only limited experience with the spell.

Logistically it would be too hard to balance something that could recharge any item.  It would disregard the difficulty of acquiring rare items with many charges compared to an easy-to-obtain item with the same spell but few charges.

The other option would be to make 'special' rechargeable items (which do exist I believe) more widespread, but that frankly doesn't sound like an interesting addition to the overall loot tables save for a few rare cases.

I've heard there are a growing number of 1/day items already.  That's already strong.  I don't think it's the direction anyone wants to go.

Is this still happening?
