Brotherhood Of Evolution

~I dream of stars I cannot see.. Of Worlds just beyond my grasp.. Of realms beyond my understanding.. And I reach for them, for the answers other minds would never consider or be able to comprehend..~

What is it?
A subgroup within the Exile Collective Faction, more of a belief for your character! Not supported by the faction, but to join the group your going to have to inevitably join the collective, as members -likely- will pressure towards it.

Again, What IS it?
A group of people dedicated to the evolution of all races, particularly in an aberrant fashion, seeking out any knowledge on the far realm, aberrant races, or methods of aberrant technology to use to reach what they consider the necessary "evolution" of all intelligent species, seeking to force these changes on every living being inevitably. Along with this they pursue any goals the Exile Collective would normally have.

Okay, some restrictions?
Any evil alignment, or Chaotic/Lawful neutral would work too, but likely going to commit some evil acts in the pursuit of evolution! True Neutral I can see working, but you might be pushed towards chaos, law, or evil over time.

Any class besides druid, and paladin.. Cleric is iffy as one of the idea's portrayed is that the only divinity worth dedication is the divinity of man, a Cleric -could- work, but they'd most definitely have to be a cleric of a aberrant god. Spellcasters I Imagine will have the most success and fun with this, though any melee or rogue based classes would likely have fun too i'm sure.

How Do I Get Involved?
Message me on the forum's or pursue involvement IG. It is entirely possible you might be approached about involvement as well.

No D: so sad to see her go! She had only really just begun with her place in the Exiles >_< and who knows what greatness would have grown in time..

I'd love to see more methods to enter and exit Sanctuary or the Vaults.. With the rise of opportunities to become thralls to various influences, the various checkpoints completely deny any thrall from entering sanctuary or the vaults, or leaving without the direct intervention of a DM, and even then, one would be hard pressed to get past the checkpoints. Offering some alternatives would be nice for those who become thralls.

loot>xp though if you prefer we don't do it sure

wasn't doing it repeatedly in an attempt to get attention for it, just saying that it isn't a one time no finish thing, that it has no finish at all

Location of the quest is in the lowerdark btw, I've heard several DM's say they are not familiar with this quest, and I can easily show IG if necessary. Every single time I've done this quest no finish

Suggestions / Ooze Complex/Ooze Tomb
May 18, 2016, 10:46:13 AM
Heya.. not sure if my suggestion is desirable but I thought i'd put the idea out there.

The quest is great, a lot of fun, and perfect for ooze cultists.. Maybe move the quest out of the explorable and into the sewers somewhere? it would fit in great, and give the sewers a 9 max quest to go to beyond the low level quests that are in the sewers. Not to mention it's a low player requirement a good level max and would be a great persistent quest for people to go to.

Now I admit it's a little self-serving as its low player requirement is good for the ooze cult as most of the time the faction member numbers aren't so high up, but maybe in return for moving it to the sewers raise its player requirement to 3?

Again the quest is the ooze complex/ooze tomb its name is a little hard for me to remember precisely as sadly I rarely run into it, and it's sad to see such a great quest so hard to find due to the reliance on explorables

This quest still does not give the quest finish after you beat the boss or explore the entire map

Suggestions / Sendings
May 14, 2016, 05:31:20 AM
So I heard the sending system in lower is only useable by the cults unless they make their check.. I was wondering why the ooze cult was excluded from this? The suggestion i'm making is allow ooze cultists to use the sending system as well.. There used to be a reliable source of sendings to all lowersmen but was changed for some reason to only be accessible by rogues, it would be nice to have a source of sendings for lower for all, or at least for all three cults.

SEWER RATS

With the rise of the cults.. Many sub-groups have arisen within the cults.. Some of them gang-like.. The Dwellers have their Black Kings Bastards and the lower fortress, The Ascensionists have their Swords Of Paradise and their alleyways.. And Now Those Of The Ooze have their SEWER RATS and the sewers.. Led by the eccentric and questionably insane Pipp Boloc the self proclaimed RAT KING, he leads the Sewer rats in a goal to control the sewers of Dunwarren with a solid hammer, taxing those who come within, beating up rival gang-members who try to flaunt their power, ride the success of the ooze cult's endeavours, be the strong-arm of the ooze cult itself, and most importantly.. Make gold, spill blood, get treasures, and die infamous.. Only time will tell what comes of these loosely organized madmen, and brigands.. And like their source the ooze cult.. They of course have their eyes on lower eventually..

Player Faction/Association:
Alignments: Recommended: CE, NE Not Permitted: NG, LG, CG, LN, LE -- TN could work but you'd definitely have to be on the more evil side and it is very likely you will end up Chaotic or Evil at one point, maybe both.

Classes: Any except Paladin Recommended: Barbarian, Fighter, Bard, Wizard. --Primordial Druid is cool but would not fit into a gang-like concept, better off just joining the ooze cult and associating with the SEWER RATS. Cleric is awesome, but again, probably best as just part of the cult and as an associate of the SEWER RATS- But I am not opposed to a cleric in the SEWER RATS.

Races: Any, Literally, Any Race except for Myconid.

Goals:
-Establish pure dominance of the sewers controlling everything that goes on within and anything that effects them
-Find a way to ally with the chosen for better control of the Sewers and the machine below
-GET STRONG, SPILL BLOOD, MAKE THOSE GOLDS
-Push their own individual goals, as well as those of the ooze cult
-Push a more gang-like side and aspect of the ooze cult
-Become SELF-SUFFICIENT to the point where anyone outside of the ooze cult or SEWER RATS is unecessary and useless to the SEWER RATS
-BANDITRY, Take what you want from who you want outside of the cult or SEWER RATS regardless of the consequences
-Flaunt Power, Beat up rival gangs, pick on cults rival to the ooze
-Explore as much of the machine as possible and try to understand and gain dominance in it
-Maybe.. Even try to spread wererat lycanthropy amongst all the members to become TRUE SEWER RATS.

Benefits:
-Conflict heavy concept
-Experience that gang-like life
-HQ And Secret Benefits
-Experience the Cult Wars On A Majorly Personal Level

Requirements:
-Must join the ooze cult, whether starting out a member or joining over time
-Must adhere to the proper alignment
-Must Be a Dunwarren based character
-Must be open to BANDITRY, and ADVENTURE

Risks:
-Heavy Conflict, highly probable chance of being perma'd without mercy
-You still start out with enemies right off the get go
-Goals will drive us to very dangerous enviroments and to take risky chances

And lastly to this post- Have fun, really, enjoy yourself, no point in playing this if your not going to have fun.

join us in the ooze cult IRC: #ooze And if you join, make sure to get access to the ooze cult forums.
