Currently sitting on a train while reflecting about the character and sorting screenshots to be added later but I want to take a moment to thank everyone who took part in his story, regardless of how small a role. Efu really is a magical place for that, allowing a character to evolve, to become a fully living and breathing thing. Enough that it brings a tear to the eye when it ends.

Further, I'd like to thank Saman, Azim, The Dervish and Argent for being so formative. For giving me a grounded basis for the character, for giving me a foundation to build upon. You really made it feel alive for me and I appreciate it.

Crimson medicine, you're a real hero, friend. Thank you for being cool with what I suspect felt like a harsh assassination (Ekret had reasons, but I know it doesn't always feel that way).

When I get out of the Alps I'll add to this but for now I'll toast to all your characters, alive or otherwise!

Thank you for making efu what it is!

[A letter address to the Grand Academy of Baz'eel]

Honoured Murshids,

Know me by my accomplishments for I am the Hakem of Ephia's Well, spiritual leader of the Mothers Blessed Waters and a Murid of the Magi. I have time and time again cautioned Ephia's Well against brash action that may lead to unfavourable results and found myself stonewalled with every attempt.

Ephia's Well has become consumed with the Kusatma, revealing in its destruction, screaming in ear piercing joy as the Magi's Grand Design is turned to Daylight upon each twisted Song born of the Idol known as the Kusatma. And all the while, the Marishyen linger at the edges, watching, gathering soil born of the twisted Idol and carving names into their 'God Pillar'. One who I suspect will be erected within the ruins of the orc stronghold in the weeks to come as one was laid to rest within the ruins of the Well itself, hidden, covered in Heretical idols.

I write to you with a single question, one I believe I have earned an answer to. What do the blessed archives know of these beings and How might I protect the Faithful from the Heresy that will come to pass upon the completion of the 'God Pillar' and the sorrowful song of the Kusatma?

Ever in service to the Lamplight,

Murid Vorazol Ekret.

Back Sunday evening, closing on a new home. Consider Ekret away on a matter of Faith.

Cheers.

Vladimiros Moraitelis,

The vengeance of The Uncowed is relentless, and you are right to fear its inevitable reach. To repent before Him is a fleeting solace, for the wrath of his Faithful will not be stayed by prayer alone.

I will perform the ritual you request, but know this: no act of flagellation, no offering of ash, will truly turn their gaze away. You seek to ease their hunger, but it is a hunger that only grows. The Wrothyr will demand their due, and no priest can shield you from their wrath.

None escape the consequences of their deeds. Still, I will guide you through this, I will stand in the stead of The Orchard's Dance and offer you a veil. A gift of spice and fine wine made in offering upon her Shrine a secret bought and sealed away that His gaze might be averted.

Such is the Duty of the Izdur, to guide. To provide when others cannot.

Wheel Above All,

Murid Vorazol Ekret

Marishyen,

I have, with great diligence, sought answers within the libraries, both near and distant. I have corresponded with and consulted numerous scholars, experts in the fields of History and Faith, and yet none have been willing to address a simple question of mine. As such, I turn to you directly, in the hope that you may provide the clarity that others have withheld.

What are you, and what is your role in all of this?

I await your response.

Wheel Above All,
Murid Vorazol Ekret.

Having a rough time keeping myself interested in EFU lately. Going to step away for awhile.

I'll probably be back at some point! Cheers.

Wooden wheel takes shape,
Craftsman's hands guide with knowledge,
Spokes whisper secrets.

Maribeh 14th, IY 7788. A time where the great Caliph is honoured.

Recent days have seen a great weight lifted from my shoulders, the Wheelwright has explained perhaps more then I suspect I can understand about the nature of faith. Perhaps the tide begins to turn.

Sleep continues to provide little in the way of comfort, the Hound watching. Drip. Drip. Drip. Hunting something, prowling from a distance. My concern continues to grow about the nature of such a creature.

"One and three makes a triangle." Important words with the right context, I continue to pursue them. Don't let yourself forget them.

Faith wanes, axe corrodes,
Agaslakku's strength fades fast,
Warrior's doubts grow.

Maribeh 8th, IY 7788. A time where the great Caliph is honoured.

One, two, three.
Fountain, forge, lamp.
Four, five, six.
Mountain, road, comb.

The stagnant air wraps around me like a suffocating shroud in this place, its heaviness pressed upon me, choking me. The faces of those around me mirror my own situation, each one etched with miserable lines of failure.

Here, familiarity breeds complacency. The once sharp edges of my faith have dulled, blunted by doubt. Agaslakku, whose name once poured from my lips with fervor, now feel like a stale wine.

I grow concerned for myself.

Screen Shots & Obituaries / Re: Rin of Oldflowers

I don't often comment on Obits but god damn did I love Rin. Despite my attitude towards Druids in main/sarcasm Rin has a special place in my heart.

My dumbo Noble died for her and I'd die for her again, it was a real pleasure interacting with you on both Audrey and Oliver. Thank you for keeping my dream of Oldflowers going!

I think this is a cool idea. Maybe make opening a stall far more expensive or something without some ranks in appraise.
