Candidate Buster seeks to invest labor into Arslan to exploit resources before they rot!

Candidate Dudley seeks to fortify Arslan first, rebuild infrastructure second.

Candidate Buster speaks of Shadows that emerged from Arslan.  Candidate Dudley calls him out on them!

Dame Onion loves the Drama.

Candidate Buster clarifies he means the Seekers After Death.

Onion Asks about Qaimmi attacks and what the Candidates intend to do about those.

Candidate Dudley says she'll build a DEATH RAY to SMITE the Qa'immi machine.  Exquisite answer.

She also says "More War" And "Figure Out who's been bringing all these listening devices."  No idea what that means!

Candidate Buster says war against Qa'im will not be fought with soldiers and war machine, but with histeria and stumbling!

Claims there is a conspiracy at the heart of governance, who is brining evil machines into the Well!  How Horrid!

We must poke out the probing eyes of weakness from our over-extending selves!  Yes.. Candidate Buster says he will fight Qa'immi fire with Tlonsiyan fire, and hire them to build him an even better death ray...

Author's commentary:
I kind of ship these two, I think they;d make a cute couple.  Onion asks about Taxes!

Candidate Buster says he'll cut down on Government titles.  Says they're silly and cost too much money.  An Apothar who's name I do not know drank a whole bottle of Rosewine, disgrunted by this.  The Author wishes he too, had alchohol.

Says the government exists to serve the people, and that Taxes can be as changing as the Win.  Very Poetic.

Candidate Dudley says she will lower property taxes so they get used, but says she needs to look at the numbers before moving anything around.  Gods, they're perfect for each other.  Like fried turnip chips and rat nacho cheese.

She's ambivalent on board taxes and title!.  Boring!  Unlike Buster, who is not boring.  Yin and Yang here, people!

Dudley says raise she'll raise the Voice!



PART TWO

Candidates seem to agree on giving voices to the people who went on an island trip together.
Very generous!  Also, maybe warming up to each other? Ho ho!

Buster says raising the voice is silly because it makes the rich richer and the poor uh, not have a good time.

Dudley says the poor do not bring Prosperity to Ephia's Well!  So much for the unwashed working masses, I guess!

The Governor of Arslan says "We got some Killer Adventurers here, we've got the Best Killers around, Everyone will have a Killer Adventurer when I'm governor..."

Buster says the Refugees do everything in the Well, Dudley says they're just lazy bums that don't deserve to live.

They gaze deeply into each others eyes...

Dudley asks what Buster thinks of the Creep!

Buster says they're part of the Well and ignoring them brings Catosrophe!

The audience said Dudley has a secret plan to gas the creepfolk. Dastardly...

Dudly says nobody will be sad if they gas the Creep, because they're all wyrmists and necromancers.

The AUdience claims the merit earning of the Voice never actually happens before beneficiaries are assassinated before it can happen.

Two people lined up for questions.

A man called Kasu asked what the candidates would do for the people in the Stockades.

Dudley says she;ll hire them all.
Astounding!

Dudley also wants to move the Stockades inside the walls.  Ambitious!
Will need many porters.

Buster says he'll improve the Stockades with good project management practices, maybe some agile planning? 
Who knows.

An ashfolk in purple asked what do the candidates think Ephia's Role will be in the new Caliphate.

Buster says he thinks the Well should continue to gather refugees.

He also says it'll be a crossroads of trade, or something.  Great for my brews and wands!

Dudley says Ephia's Well got the Water, so they are the Caliphate. Bold!

Also She says she expects everyone to try to kill us for them.  Very convincing.

What follows is the Last Will of Evanderall Ristar, as recorded by Junior Scribe Toppoboppo Hoppoloppo.

I wish for all my belongings to be donated to the Fourth Legion so that they may either be sold off to collect funds or given to other soldiers to keep them well-stocked.

If any funds are gathered from the selling of belongs belonging to me, they are to specifically be used for funding the Legion as a whole and not for personal enrichment.

Yoren of the Fourth Legion: "Thank you for putting me on the path of the Janissaries.  It was only through your guidance that I was able to serve proper"

Hans of the Fourth Legion: "Keep that bright spirit... But perhaps learn manners as well.  Just a thought."

Here be the Will of Narwen, the patriot of the Well and Iakmesian war veteran who died in the line of duty to us all.  I knew her she was nice.

"My amber amulet and brass sword are to be returned to the waters of my birthplace, Spring's Gift.

My flower ring is to be given to the sisterhood to be planted in a place that the Kinbands of Ynys Eilir may find relief and succor.

My body and all my remaining possessions are to be given to the Sisterhood.

I request that no dissection, experimentation, mutilation, or descration of my body be conducted by any organizations of Elpia's Well.  I wish for my body to remain whole and undefiled when it is time for my soul to make its next journey.

By the command of Legate Vellyn Lhyrian, and by the wisdom of Legate Alexandria Sayburgh, let it be known throughout the Well that:

The Grates to the Tunnels are Sealed in the wake of the Banda treachery that claimed the life of our noble Vizier Nadiri Inanna Eilissere.  All tunnel grates within the Well plaza shall be illegal to use by anyone but uniformed Accorded, Government Staff, and Scribes of the Sublime Garden, save for one passage.

Those who seek legal entry to the tunnels must enter through the Office of Minor Nuisances after purchasing a Pin from Scribe Jina, Sub-Official of Minor Nuisances.

The Penalty for using a grate or entering the tunnels without the pin or previously mentioned exceptions shall be judgement for committing the crime of trespassing and unlicensed activity.  Within the tunnels, those guilty of evading questions about pins, or refusing a license search or reasonable Janissary command shall be judged for committing the minor crime of Unlawful Resistance.

Signage will be placed by the grates to remind the Well of this new Law.

Honorable Legates Lhyrian and Sayburgh,

Now that Chief Scribe Ashbury has warned us, what is the response to the Arslan crisis?

It has been over one cycle since the Scribes have been paid, at this rate we are moving towards a government shutdown.

We have worked long and hard to bring excellent public service, and refuse to compromise on quality.  If there is something the Scribes of the Well can do to assist resolving this issue please let us know.

While some can afford to nay get paid, others will be forced to defect to support themselves, and this will weaken the Well and its defenses.  Scribe Kiran has been charged with reevaluation of the current pricing of Licenses in the Well to compensate.

Most exulted Legates, I am sure you will do what it takes to come back from this and compensate those working hard to defend the Well.

Tasnim al-Leyla's Will and Testament

My wishes are simple.  Donate all of my dinari to the Temple of B'aara, care of Mother Zalhanna.  Place the dinari into the offering tithe.  As formy worn possessions, please give them to the Mother Zalhanna.  Please give my potions and other lesser items to Manijeh bintMurassa with the understanding they may be sold and the dinari used to fund loans for the voiceless.  Especially refugees.  My inention for my worn items given to Mother Zalhanna is that she uses them for the benefit of the temple according to her judgement. 

Finally please advocate for the 50000 dinar alloted to the Temple of B'aara at previous assembly, that the funds be used to help the Stockade and refugees.

To my friends, do not weep for me.  The Mother's tears are enough.  If you would honor me, follow her tenets.  Live and drink, my dear friends.

Please see that the following are made aware that I remember them fondly as I go to judgement: Aeronwy Caddick, Manijeh bint Murassa, Zina Zizzo, Haldar Steelheart, Solina Lyonson.  Please tell Tryggvi Kralthervi that I am sorry I could not do more with the life he saved at Vae Mojem.  May the Twins look on him fondly when his time comes.  Finally it is my wish that the Speakers of the Wheel do faithfully help the current Hakem, Yogi Calus Melius, bring unity to our faith.  May the Mother bless you all.
