Quote from: Drakill Tannan;250277Yus, also, for each 3 ranks in perform, you get +1 round duration to your bardsong.

Wow, never found that on the website thanks for that bit of insight. Also is that for each hard bonus, or do soft bonuses from items count towards it?

Quote from: Valo56;250134Not playing a necromancer is indeed a good way to avoid Druidic gank squads. :P

Actualy druids should only be against necromancers who summon undead or use undead in any capacity. Other than that they likely should have nothing wrong with one who casts fear spells, or uses negative energy over other magics. Negative energy is the balance of positive energy.

Quote from: Drakill Tannan;248642You know, chance doesn't work that way. It isn't 5% of 5% of 5%, that is .125%, there is a formula, much more complicated that that, to  calculate that. And i'm pretty sure it's below .1%.

Actually 5% of 5% of 5% should equal around 0.000125 or .0125% chance. I can't recall exactly how to do this from statistics but I think thats about correct.

As it stands no computer generated dice rolls are completly random, and there is commonly multiple rolls of the same number next to eachother.

Quote from: Egon the Monkey;246285The elemental bond ones, Kamikaze Evoker and Death Channels only really help caster classes unless you UMD a LOT of offence wands.

What exactly do these perks do? I can't find them listen anywhere.

Multiple types of bait.
Yes, that would be nice, mabye different qualities as well.

Skill System
No, anyone can pick up a fishing rod and catch a ten pounder it just takes patience.

Should the fishing rods rot away after time.
Yes, this would represent your spool of line.

Suggestion for Rod Rotting.
What about a low chance of getting your line caught? This would be something that represents a true annoyance IRL and IG that wastes fishing line and make you take a minute or two to retie your line. This would make a way of limiting how much you can catch on one rod without any specific set time. Posible sell spools of line so people can replinish the line. Mabye represent how much line is left with a charge counter on the rod itself.

Chance of the rod breaking.
No, the rods them selves are extreamly durable and will only break if you try to hit someone with it or treat it carelessly.

Garbage caught.
Yes but the chance should be rather low since you would have to be dragging your line along the bottem to catch most things like this.

Enemies spawn.
Yes, but make it based on the area you are fishing in and nothing that someone can't handle alone.

Other suggestions.
On catching some fish make a Reflex save to avoid a small amount of damage. Some fish do have spines that will get you if you are careless and some fish do bite if you get to close to their mouth.

Poeple who use one handed weapons can get and use deflect arrows. This on itself should make it atleast slightly attractive especially for dexterity builds.

Quote from: Relinquish;127964The "mage staffs" can be used by halflings/gnomes but they are just 2 handed.

Last I checked small races can NOT use quarterstaffs. So unless this was changed on EFU most of the choices I have seen for a "mages staff" where quarterstaffs and unusable bye small races.

General Discussion / Bard song
July 13, 2011, 11:25:02 PM
I plan on making a Bard as my next char but before I do I have a few questions about some bard mechanics.

1. Does the feat Lingering Song effect songbook songs?

2. Are there songbook songs for Curse Song?

3. Do bards have to be performers or could I make more of a traveling story teller/lore keeper? I've imagined more of a wandering witness, who spreads news, witnesses marriges/births/ect. The entertianment, poems and musical magic would be more of an insentive to make people allow for lodging, food, or other aid.

Suggestions / Ale for the Delving
July 10, 2011, 10:45:05 PM
I would like to suggest that Delliah in the Delving sells various ales as well as food items. Possibly a Dwarven Ale or Dwarven Stout you can't get elsewhere for those who like to claim dwarven brew is better than other kinds.

Make a note in the description stating that sometimes for a divine casters spells to work they must relog after chosing a diety using the configuration alter.

Off-topic Discussion / Party invite disabled fix
May 25, 2009, 01:06:04 AM
Alright someone asked me about this earlier and since I really am not sure where to put it its going here.

1. Go to your NWN file and open it.
2. Look for nwnplayer.ini and open that up
3. look for DisablePartyInvitePopup=1
4. Make it DisablePartyInvitePopup=0

This will fix that annoyance of party invites not popping up.
