Following the council meeting, I present the following queries that should be raised at the appointed time to Trystan Moonspear.

1. How can he validate the King's death, and legitimize his claim to the throne?

2. Will he permit his bloodline to be established?

3. With knowledge of the ritual that saw the Sibilants Wyrm raised, why did he not alert any others to this and why did his small task force try to disrupt it by assaulting a completely inconsequential ziggurat with no hope against such numbers?

4. Will he name the relic he holds and where he obtained it? Will he allow it to be inspected?

If these questions can not be satisfactorily answered, then I recommend that the council of peers dismiss his claims.

I write to you as the standing Royal Court Magus of the Wizard Warrens, Thunzi Un'zahi. I write to request custody of the keys to Ring 92, that I may self govern passage to the lands beyond. I am charged with creating law of my demesne and those who obey and pay their taxes should be rewarded with passage beyond. If such is feasible I am willing to cover any administrative costs.

To clarify- I do not propose the removal of the existing challenge of the ring, but the discretion of the Royal Court to provide access to those who have demonstrated their loyalty to the King and abide by his councils law.

Suggestions / Sorcerers - Additional Spells / Level

I know this has probably been discussed a million times - but what if sorcerers got additional spells each level - but the additional spells they got over and above the default choices were from a pool of spells for balance? More like support spells / spells they are not the "go to" spells for PvP/PvE.

So known spells would be something like..

Level 1: 2 known spells (1st lvl)
Level 2: 2 known spells (1st lvl) / 1 secondary pool spells (1st lvl)
Level 3: 2 known spells (1st lvl) / 1 secondary pool spell (1st lvl)
Level 4: 3 known spells (1st lvl)  / 1 secondary pool spell (1st lvl) / 1 known spell (2nd lvl) / 1 secondary pool spell (2nd lvl)
Level 5: 3 known spells (1st lvl) / 2 seondary pool spells (1st lvl) / 2 known spells (2nd lvl) / 1 secondary pool spell (2nd lvl)
Level 6: 3 known spells (1st lvl) / 2 seondary pool spells (1st lvl) / 2 known spells (2nd lvl) / 1 secondary pool spell (2nd lvl) / 1 known spell (3rd lvl) / 1 Secondary pool spell
Etc etc..

Introductions and Group Management / Ringrunners - Come on down

This isn't so much of a group / faction per se, however for anyone who is interested in playing a character who is interested in running the rings my current PC (Thunzi Un'zahi - Royal Court Wizard) will be supporting initiatives for progressing into the deeper rings. So if you are wanting to play a dedicated ring runner it would be a good time to jump on board as I can provide a lot of help getting underway. I play EU evenings and weekends.

I am extremely open ICly to who I work with the only exception would be a paladin. This would potentially include monster PCs and from pretty much any background. Good aligned characters or very lawful pcs could have a tougher time but it wouldn't be out of the question and could actually lead to some interesting RP. The primary focus is going to be running the rings however - there will still be a lot of antics politicking in 99 so the best of both worlds?  Existing players can obviously get involved - you will find it harder though if you are part of a faction at conflict with other factions.

I thought it about time to start recording my thoughts, with these planar excursions I am finding myself more forgetful, the "planar sickness" is taking its toll, though perhaps it is these constant niggling requests.

Progress into the rings has proven difficult. The more I read the more I believe former Royal Court Magus Esbersol was right in his approach, but where is he now? I must partake of these petty games in 99, it is not a new concept to a Magus of the Shade, but it is rather time consuming. "Rusty" had such potential, a pity his mind is clouded by such madness, he served his purpose well enough though. Copperpot went and got himself killed somewhere.. oh well back to the drawing board. I can be patient- for now.

Warden and Sub-Warden.. an amusing notion that I have decided to play along with. They seem to be quite happy serving and keeping to their own devices, perhaps they shall be useful? The "Apprentice" is a curiosity. Were she from my homeland she would likely be serving as my equal, but these lands are new and strange and one must adapt. Her can her knowledge of the craft be greater then my own?! This new position has thrusted me into the light - no place for a Magus of the Shade, they shall help in this regard.

The resources of the tower are vast - I can finally begin work on my next project.. until the next interruption...

Warden,

I wish a report on the following when time allows:

- A list of all who possess keystones to the Warrenwatch
- Any enemies of yours or your predecessors that I should be aware of, with the exception of that which we have discussed.
- Any ongoing projects within the ward that require my attention.

I also intend to decree that all who travel through the Wizard Warrens will be cataloged including their name, talents and their business within the ward or beyond. This information will be used to strive to unlock to secrets of the deeper rings. I will expect those who make use of the Warrenwatch to catalog this information in the tome that I have set out in my personal library, which I extend access to you.

I hope this letter finds you well. I have enjoyed reading your published works on the nature of the seams, they have been quite inspiring in my campaign to understand the nature of Rings and that which exists beyond. Progress within the rings goes well, I have just reached 86 where I expect I shall be spending some time reviewing the works of a certain Wizard. I am going to continue working on gathering a worthy troop to take on the challenges ahead and I would appreciate a conversation with you about my intentions within the deeper rings when time allows and how we might work together.

I trust you do not hold any Ill will to my comments about your condition, now that you have purged yourself of the impending madness. I'm aware your new Arbiter friends have no fondness of me and I suspect given their nature it is only a matter of time until they find me in conflict with one of their scrolls, but I would like to hear from you, given the comments made by those who associated with you about me "wanting you dead" which was clearly not the case.

I hope your recovery goes well.

Salutations Royal Court Magus Silver,

You may recall we have already had the pleasure of meeting upon the peak of the Silverspike. I have arrived now in your domain and now set roots to make this place my home. I have established a number of fruitful relationships with those who share my interests in the rings, those who are driven to discover their many mysteries. I write to you today as ambition demands to challenge you for your position as Royal Court Magus. Know I do not make this challenge lightly. I have read much of your publish works and hold you in the highest regard, but I must pursue my ambitions I know that I am the one who will see the warrens elevated to the domain it deserves to be.

Trial by combat is a practice well known to me and so I accept your terms should you wish to accept this method of resolution. Know though that should you not wish to participate in this trial, I would be willing to discuss other terms with you. My challenge is for your position as Royal Court Magus and for the apprenticeship of Marcille.

"City Sending by Thunzi Unzahi : I`ve have been contemplating on my future and my focus upon the challenge of the rings is absolute. I have grown tired of the politics of ring 99, and as important as the ring is I can no longer abide the foolery of the rival powers that be. I will be operating moving forward from the Wizard Warrens and invite the unaffiliated who share my passion for the mystery of the rings to join me in a campaign of knowledge through the many doors before us.

Many ring runners have been defeated by their roots in the cradle of corruption that is ring 99, so if you are truly willing to dedicate yourself to the pursuit of knowledge, the unknown, seek me out; Thunzi of the Shade. I will consider those from all walks of life, we will be mentally and physically challenged and many skill-sets will be needed.
