Screen Shots & Obituaries / The First EfU:A Fish Duel!
September 12, 2008, 09:31:59 AM
Now, thanks to our wonderful, *inventive* DMs, there is now a fairly common drop in seaside areas of the Dead Fish Club.

(they don't usually glow in the dark, by the way. I just cast Continual Flame on mine)

And of course, where you have fightin' fish, you will inevitably need a fish fight!
So, having acquired suitable armament, Labur decided to challenge proud fish-wielder Foop Applebelly to a piscine duel.

The combatants prepare:

However, to see how the duel turned out, you'll have to wait until Omma (who was spectating) posts some of his screenies, as I was too busy making awful fish-related combat taunts to be able to take pictures.

Suggestions / Trashbarrels
September 09, 2008, 09:25:54 PM
I want to destroy evil items, not haul them around. :P
Can we have some trashbarrels, hot forges, Big Damn Holes and the like for the Archipelago please?

Introductions and Group Management / Dwarfs!
September 09, 2008, 12:52:41 PM
I made a Dwarf Priest of Sharindlar, and having seen a few other Dwarves, am planning on getting a Dwarf Clan going, something like the Mithrilsouls were. Claim a room in the Ziggurat as a Dwarf Hall, try and set up a forge or something, maybe work with Salvagesword on that. The aim would be to be as independent as possible from Gobtown for resources and services, unite dwarves into a faction in Ymph with their own base and generally kick ass and drink ale.

Bug Reports / Larder Quest
September 09, 2008, 09:32:38 AM
I did this yesterday on my fighter/rogue and the Giant Sludge Thing didn't spawn. Abandoned the quest, tried it with my Cleric and it worked just fine.

Suggestions / Rotating Day/Night cycle
September 08, 2008, 04:34:17 PM
I like the day/night idea, but with 12hrs for each IG day, you'll always get day or night on your usual play time. That means half of us are going to have it a lot harder with the Nightrisers.

However, if you set it to say, 5 hour cycles, that won't happen. Each day, daybreak will be at a different time, nightfall at a different time, as 24 doesn't divide by 5.

So, your normal play time won't always be either day or night, letting everyone see both sides of the module.
