The Temple of Magic, or Team Spells Yo!

Why should the Conclave be the de-facto, only magical faction? They only take casters, and whomever they can con into becoming a slav- I mean, consort.

My cleric of Mystra, Aeliolia (or Nipple Soup, as many on IRC have christened her) has become a Patrician and formed a ban. Her ultimate goal is to establish a temple to Mystra, complete with shrines to all the other known gods of magic who are her allies - Azuth, Savras, Corellon Larethian, Thoth, and Isis.
 
This group will encompass not only clergy, but wizards and sorcerers that for whatever reason have no desire to join the Conclave, and also rangers, bards, paladins, fighters, and pretty much anyone with an interest in magic and what phat magical loot can do for them.
 
After all, as i'm sure many laypersons reasoning goes, what better way to get phat magical loot then to work for the Goddess of Magic herself?

Potential allies but not directly worshipped, are Oghma and the dieties of knowledge and invention.
 
On the political side of things, Team Spells Yo! is nominally allied with the Dominion for stabilities sake, but they have no particular dislike or malcontent for the Freemen and possibly dislike for the activities of the Dominion, which should make for good intruige.

And yes, I know Velsharoon is technically also one of Mystra's servants, but he's ugly and no one likes him. Also he has his own faction, the Black Parish.

Dugmaren Brightmantle and Baravar Cloakshadow, Yo!

Seems cool, if I can just decide on a single concept to play.

This needs a bump. Dugmaren is more of a tinkerer then a caster, though magic plays into things. Baravar isn't something I thought of. Maybe i'll add them to my list of dieties to venerate in my awesome temple that will never be built.

Join us, it's pretty awesome. Just about any concept will work, I think. However, evil will have a tough time (Velsharoon may work if you work at it, not sure, the Black Parish seems gone and never was Velsharoon only). We're working on doing stuff (stuff... just stuff, it's awesome stuff, though, join us and learn more) and now is a great time to join.
