Had to unbury this old thread for a damned good reason. After 3 years and 1 month of absence, aside from an ultimately doomed attempt to give EfU some time last summer and fall, I have finished every class, every test, and the bar exam - one of the most rigorous academic exams one can take (two days, 6-7 hours each day with 2.5 months of full-time studying beforehand).

Today, I passed the Bar Exam, the last hurdle to becoming an attorney. =)

One of my prouder moments was a simple compliment from one of the best litigators (those eloquent courtroom lawyers) in the state who noted that I "possess a mastery of the English language." I must give due credit to having spent such a substantial amount of time here among several phenomenal writers (would-be speakers, truly, since most of our writing is done in a more vocal style).

Oh yea, and an amusing factoid of EfU-related interest:

My first real EfU character, Genevis Ward, was a member of the first PC-elected Sanctuary Councils back in 2005 to early 2006 (ALMOST certain, may have been ushered into an opening). I was among the first of EfU to pass a law in Sanctuary. Fast forward eight years... during my last semester of law school, earlier this year, I built up a team to pass a piece of legislation in my state legislature. I was the first in my law school class to pass a real law there, too. =)
