The first part of the quest is a max level 6 and the second part of the quest is also max level 6, meaning anyone who levels during the first part can't continue on with the second.

Or, alternatively, make the first quest a level max 5 (I think that's how the two quests were originally set up in EfU:A).

Talir

This quest used to be 2-5, 2-6.

It's unlikely but a possibility someone will up the second part.

See my edit to the original post :) Personally, I think this quest is too easy for level 6ers.

VanillaPudding

Does it matter what a quest used to be? Trolls used to be 10 max, so was Orcs part 1. Gnolls used to be 7 max and has bounced between that and 8 a few times in the past year.

If the first part of a dual-quest is 6 max, the second should likely be seven to support the odd and small chance of leveling within the quest (although due to design, just like the previously mentioned quests, the high end will only get XP for the boss kill if at all)

It does not change the balance of anything on the second part, and it's not as if they can farm the second part at 7 if the first remains at the same level cap.

Mort

It obviously matters. This quest was made for 2-5 in mind. Why the first part is now 2-6 is surely a DM who brought the quest level up for a group but failed to bring it back down.

Egon the Monkey

I always thought it was 2-6 because with the new setting you can breeze through 2-5s and it can be harder to find a party, especially one with a Ranger for pt 2.

Spiffy Has

Add Dire wolves.

Problem solved. :)
