The goal was simple: After a spurt of villainous and scheme heavy PC's I thought I'd shift gears and make a more cheerful, spur of the moment, adventurous PC

A non-traditional Aasimar. Tymoran Explorer fit the bill and I discovered that Hawklin was a legitimate Adventuring-lord of Cormyr who ran and founded taverns and adventuring companies, so things kinda went two and two together given Tymora's presence in Cormyr. Barandos Hawklin II, a gift to the Adventuring Lord in a blessed son, was born!

I had originally hoped to join the Aberdenn to restore fortune to them through bold adventure and reckless treasure hunting in the pursuit of gold. I had hoped to originally raise 10,000 gold for them then depart their services and remain an ally.

Instead a scheme to win the mayoral race for the Aberdenn blew up in my face, I got thrown out, and began my thrilling independent career as...

[tface=callig][size=8]TREASURE HUNTER[/size][/tface]

Early on many found Ando to be an interesting charm of good luck, in both Aberdenn and my own small Treasure hunting company.

When not treasure hunting or wooing ladies, or spending his gold in foolish ways, he found time to relax...

And found some interesting treasures!

Visited some exotic places...

Fought to steal a Drow Vessel, the Imperator!

And had a bromance with Galen Caermyn...

While exploring the Sunken Enclave I came upon a very horrible discovery- I was out of invisibility potions. My first instinct was to find a quiet corner to hide and wait out the storm for a reset. Except that didn't feel very IC or in the spirit of the character.

I instead decided to tempt fate, roll the dice, and... Make a break-neck sprint out of the entire sunken enclave.

After hitting a dispel-invis ward I drew some unwanted attention...

Used my last potion,

Only to be re-dispelled and attract more attention!

Closer!

More attention, more danger, more thrills! Closer!

AAAAND!

So close...So close and yet so far. I stabalized at -7, only to be hit by a late arriving Nightriser.

A thrilling chase, a fun Indiana Jones run from the ruins, and ultimately an explorer's demise...[/hide]

Thanks to everyone involved, and particularly to Barber, doom, thomas, TheBoomKing and caster who made this experiment awesomely fun!

Looked like a blast, RwG. Can't wait to see what you've got stirring next.

Ebok

I should've guessed you'd never have the patience for mayor.

Porkolt

What a crappy way to go.

You know how to roll the dice, RwG!
