Wow.. I remember when openly admitting to Meta-gaming was a bannable offense.  Things really do change. Admitting it in IRC is one thing.. but in tells in game.. wow, just wow.

So long as one doesn't act on the knowledge its not metagaming. Like if I note PCs carrying on as normal that's okay, but if I suddenly see them summoning true seeing summons and using amplify, C and C or other spells because they got this hardware cue when before they didn't act different? Yeah I'll ban them. He sent the initial tell though while spying to them asking for IC knowledge first so this is pretty innocuous.
