Now that this is a lot less self-serving, I think it'd be neat if we added a new roll to encompass all the skills that go into tracking for the sake of DM events. I was often made to roll search on Ksenia despite the fact that the bulk of my regular tracking rolls came from spot instead.

I don't know if you're aware, but there is already a chat command for a tracking roll:

/c track

Pandip

I know there's a command for tracking. I'm talking about allowing for the roll used in that command to be seen by DM's for relevant events in which tracking might come into play.

They usually ask you to roll specific rolls because they want to use them, for what ever reason. Track roll would make no difference to this. It is not hard for us to put things together if we want it to be a sum of different ones.

It would be quite cool, yeah. Same for Alchemy/herb/cooking really. It doesn't matter what your alchemy score is if you're asked to roll one of them or just roll one for flavor it still just shows up counting your simple 10 EFUSS points, when an accomplished herbalist or alchemist could be in the 40's of their actual alchemy skill.

"I AM A MASTER CHEF"
" -- Chang's Cooking Skills are Average thanks to 10 EFUSS --"

Talir

/c roll check tracking

Added next reset.

This is also kind of nice for curiosity's sake.  I am curious how my ranger/druid build fares with tracking.  (though it seems I am fail)
"So what else is on your mind besides 100 proof women, 90 proof whisky, and 14 karat gold?"
"Amigo, you just wrote my epitaph."

"Maybe there's just one revolution.  The good guys against the bad guys.  The question is, who are the good guys?"
