Further randomise the crafting

The new crafting systems is great. One frequently discussed downside is it very all or nothing. Either you max everything with the right class, (or Apo rogue), and get most stuff, or you really struggle to make the basic stuff.

This might be an impossible or hard to implement solution, but I suggest that each item DC get randomised for each character.

If there is an item that has a DC 30 normally, lets say the fabled magic carrot. For each character the number is reduced by, say, 10, then add a 1d20 roll. So any given character could make magic carrots at between 21 and 41 DC. This number is fixed, no matter how many different ways a character finds to make magic carrots, they are always at the same DC.

This would do two things. It would mean lower skilled characters could plink away, and still get some things to work. And secondly it would encourage crafters to work together.

"You make low DC magic carrots? Cool, I am good with enchanted cucumbers, lets work together!"
